subdial ring of latest batch of green dial quite good already and can't find visual difference from Gen held on window display of a grey dealer
Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not there.
Also, let’s please stay away from these outrageous comparisons a la through the window display of a dealer, through the window of the car with a gen owner walking across the street wearing it whilst walking in a handstand as they’re very far from being even remotely accurate comparisons.

Hi all, I have a problem with the 4401 movement. It stops suddenly, even when I keep it on my wrist. Is this a known issue?

Out of curiosity, how could you sort the customs issue out?
Thanks to @legend I got them proof that the watch was there for repair. I told them that my son threw it on the wall and the dealer asked for a lot to repair it.
Also the packaging had this number on it (2613) After they saw the pictures attached, they believed me. Especially because the pictures also had (2613) on them. So they were convinced it’s the same watch.

Need to be a tad more specific

If it stops because there's no more energy - likely simply a rotor issue/autowind mechanism.... while I don't say it's "common", a few reported low PR and winding mechanism issues, seems to be typical for the 4302/4401, AP type inhouse movements...

But if it stops and starts randomly, if the issue is not related to PR... bigger issues

I wound mine and wore it all day Saturday. Went to put it on Sunday morning and it had stopped which was a bit annoying. Would have assumed if would have stayed wound especially after a full days wear. Weirdly enough it's set to the right time and still going now so maybe just low PR on Saturday. Who knows...

Wearing the watch alone will not automatically ensure that the watch is wound with the rotor.
The key factor is wrist movement which should allow the watch to be charged automatically.
However, if you feel that you have moved your wrist enough to warrant the watch to be charged enough, then the issue could be the autowind assembly (i.e. the rotor assembly) and you may want to have it looked at.
Additionally, how you start your watch is important too. This is a large movement caliber, and it is recommended that you wind it till the second hand starts to move from rest and then wear it and let the autowind function do the rest.

To add on to what Legend has said, I would also check the operation of the rotor (he mentioned autowind assembly), make sure it rotates with the rotation of the watch without much drag or any physical impingements against anything else. There can also be an issue with the mainspring barrel (if it is slipping, etc). This is hard to detect and essentially will mean your watch cannot 'recharge' as expected and will have a lower 'max' power reserve.

As he said, you may want someone to look at it if winding it fully + wearing with physical movement of your hand/arms doesn't help.

Also reexamine your own physical movement with the watch on. Example, though I walk in my commute, I take my watch off at my desk (prevent scratches). The winding that happens with natural rotor movement would therefore be far lower than if I were to wear it the entire day, with 1/4-1/3 of my day moving around with my watch on.

Does anybody knows if the links from 15500/15510 from APSF fit on 26240 ?
Also does somebody is kind enough to mesure links for 26240 ? I will help checking for they can fit.
Having hard time to get extra links…
Thanks

with the thinner bracelet the APSF chrono sits much lower than the APSF 15400. Both of mine very comfortable, no complaints. Visually I think the 15400 looks larger face on

Since you have both do you mind swapping bracelets between them to see if they fit? Really want ROC bracelet on my 15400.

Green arrived and I couldn't be happier.

One point of note: the issue with the poor fit of the bezel screws is an issue with the screws themselves, not the channels. I replaced each one with aftermarket and the fit is so perfectly flush that you actually have to use a bit of force to get them in. It was nearly $300 to replace the screws so it's a pretty stupid mod unless you really care about the matter, of which I really don't give a shit but did anyways to satisfy my curiosity.
