New AP 26240 with 4401 Super Clone movement is coming

Thank you, for stating my position clearly. I agree. Just about everything about these 26240's are next level. The slots in the bezel screws (I can accept the wiggle / gaps) are absolutely atrocious. Befitting reps of 15 years ago.

Thanks I'll grab some from Watch2Parts. Do the threads seem strong, as in, you can tighten (within reason) without likelihood of stripping?

Yes, the screws I received are of very high quality and strong. You will be impressed at how accurate and precise the machining is as soon as you put them in.

Since you have both do you mind swapping bracelets between them to see if they fit? Really want ROC bracelet on my 15400.

just seen this sorry for not replying. Actually im in two minds whether to keep the chrono or the 400 but not both......

I do tend to prefer the clean lines of the 400. So I'm not going to remove the bracelets just yet incase I do something stupid and mark one of the cases before I sell. But I've measured with calipers and the distance between the plots and edges seems very close, I'd be surprised if they don't match although one thing I did notice was.....

the thickness of both bracelets does actually match closely the curved edges on the side of the cases. So putting the 400 bracelet onto the 26240 might mean it would be a little thicker and noticeable, and visa versa the thinner bracelet would be slimmer. That may change where the plots fit within the centre of the bracelet.... hope that makes sense. I'm sure someone in the previous 166 pages must have tried to swap them over?

It does and that will exactly be the case since on both bracelets the holes are centered, therefor the thinner bracelet will sit centered in the thicker lugs.

Eh. Slightly better but nothing to scream about. I think Deep is hard to capture in photos and without videos. I assume top is APSF ans bottom is Deep.

The difference isnt as astounding as Clean vs Deep for sure
