Hey we have iPhones to tell the time! On a serious note, I recently got a watch that does not have a quick set date. Pulling the crown out once lets you advance the hour independently of the minute hand. Having to move the hour hand 24 times just to advance the day once drove me insane

All the latest Omega and Rolex movements are like this. It was introduced to prevent date wheel related movement damage and issues. It’s an improvement not an issue.

With quick set dates most manufacturers say something like don’t set the date between 8PM and 6AM. But The hour hand moving independently assures that this is automatically adhered to.

Both you and @Db9s are correct.

This mechanism has the benefit of setting the time with a lot more flexibility without worry of damage being done to the date change mechanism and yes it provides the convenience of setting the time during travels to different countries.

So it's been 3 months. Anybody got any hiccups to report with the movement or are we all holding strong with this watch? Timekeeping? Power reserve? Anything quirky like chrono not resetting properly? Thanks my friends

Mine is ok, excellent overall quality, but the rotor is actually loud, hissing like a little cobra....need a service, as master @legend recommends

2 weeks isn't that long when Clean's first GMT DD3285 came out it was a 3 month waittime at certain points lmao. The 5712 PPF had a long ass wait time as well

From previous experiences expect another week before shipment also from what I heard the new tariffs are causing shipping delays also

Correct- thankfully this whole thing about paying $32 per package in the USA has gone away, but I am unsure how the tariff is effecting shipments or if they are prepaid thus leading to less delays. Either way, I requested to ship via Fedex as UPS and Postal service seem to have the most issues lately

.... the orange dum dum only suspended it because it'd create a backlog that's impossible to recover from.
Customs don't have YET a payment system in place.

My guess is they are working on that and once the system is in place, the trade war begins anew.
I'd give it around 2 years.
$32.71/package minimum + 10% tarrif + whatever "handling" fee the mail companies would impose extra.

Yea...... the de minimis exemption will be dismantled.

Have been wearing the ceramic for about 3 weeks daily. No cracking issues, keeps perfect time, and running chrono multiple times a day. I guess I got lucky but so far so good. Wish the bezel screws were in rose gold also but that is on AP I guess.

It’s amazing how the dial changes completely in different lighting! So just imagine the GEN dial !!
