There is another thread on RWI with credible rumors of a 41 mm AP RO Chronograph clone caliber 2385 in the works. From Factory APW+
This should also make the entire range of 38mm RO Chronos available very soon.
Is the bracelet sharp like the ZF 15500 or is it rounded and doesn’t need polishing?Just got a green one via M2M, still in stickers. I haven't been this impressed by an out of the box rep since the 12xxxx series VSF subs. This thing is incredible. As soon as the snow stops and the sun comes out for 10 minutes here, I'll snap some pics of it and post them.
Absolutely silent and effortless winding, almost seems like you're not even winding the watch at all (my APSF 15500 was the same way, very smooth.) Running about 4-5 seconds fast per day according to my phone app, which is pretty impressive. My only complaint, and it pretty much stretches across the entire AP brand, is the lack of fine adjustment on the bracelet after removing a single link. But that just comes with the territory with the AP bracelets. I either need to get skinnier or fatter and it'll fit perfectly![]()
I've only had the APSF 15500, one black I got from Legend that was softened and one blue that I got from a TD. This one seems to be more on par with the one I got from Legend. The insides of the 26240 bracelet do have a very slight bevel to them, so they are not as sharp as the almost 90 degree edges that came on my APSF 15500 straight from the TD. Definitely more comfortable and not a fingernail shaver. Gimme a sec and I'll post a closeup of the inside of the bracelet where you can see the slight bevel. Is the bracelet sharp like the ZF 15500 or is it rounded and doesn’t need polishing?
So it doesn’t need polishing and when you run your fingers it doesn’t feel sharp?I've only had the APSF 15500, one black I got from Legend that was softened and one blue that I got from a TD. I believe he answered you already. So it doesn’t need polishing and when you run your fingers it doesn’t feel sharp?
Not really it was a vague answer. I wanted a clear answer. “Not as sharp” still means sharp.I believe he answered you already.
