There has been an increase in 1185 gen spec expensive custom build RO Chronographs being available. I think this points to a caliber being available to justify this rumor.
This movement looks like it could be used no?
Possibly could be the one, the 8mm thickness though makes me doubtful that they managed to make an 11mm chronograph out of it, I'm not super expert on construction of watches but the 4801 is thinner at 6.5mm and only equals out to about 11-11.8mmThis movement looks like it could be used no?

Couldn’t care less about true clone - give me a reliable DD movement with Gen thickness for the watch and I’m happy

Dandong/Peacock refers to a legal movement factory in China that produces movements for real watches, and also under the table, fake watches

That’s why I was asking about the reputation of the dealer. TD on this forum won’t push stock images and make up rumors.
But from my past experience the gen photos only come on the factory posters. Not the “in hand” pics. So still some home.
But if the caliber walks like a duck and talks like a duck, I’m onboard. Don’t need a clone. I will accept anything with the correct dimensions. Even deco plates is fine.
Some corrections. Don’t think it’s the Peacock 4612 movement. 9 o clock dial is the second on the Peacock. (It’s mentioned in the psf spec sheet)
AP has the hour counter on the 9 position. As do the dealer photos. It’s either a full clone or a lame 7750. Nothing in between.
