I like the purple one but ordered the ceramic.

Hoping the purple is popular enough that they keep making it long enough I can grab one too.

(Not mine)
Only really makes sense if the rotor is correct as it was a Domaine de Murtoli special edition

It’s correct, but if we get picky also the gen is white gold, so if you like the dial It’s a Nice Looking one.

Stunning. Which dealer did you use? The ones I’ve contacted said no stock until after Cny.
You probably shouldn't order until after CNY now anyways. It's less than 2 weeks away into CNY, it will take at minimum 2 weeks to get QC, and then all shipping will be shut down out of CNY. And then the after CNY rush is insane. Just my 2 cents

I may have been one of the fortunate ones with the ceramic version as I wore it quite extensively during the holidays without issues. I will inspect it closely when I get back in town next week. I am one who is not especially hard on any of my watches gen or rep which may also play a role in my current success with the ceramic.

@legend could you confirm that even with gen the common failure point with the 26240CE is in a similar location as we are seeing here. This may not be true as this is only what I have heard.

I sized the bracelet myself and didn't find it overly difficult to do so. Just use an appropriate tool and take your time as already suggested numerous times above.

I left this link before but I will leave it again in case it helps someone else as I found it more than adequate for the job. It is a Bergeon 7250 clone available from numerous sellers.

Hi M to be fair the only gen 26240CE owners I know are myself and one other guy living in HK. Both of us wear the watches sparingly and to date there has been no material failure. I have a sample size of 2 and a lack of experience in this area. So I can only answer you out of my limited experience hope you understand.

When put side by side it was already evident to me that the ceramic materials are different visually, as the hues of the material look different. I am of course unable to see any difference in material composition from looks alone, but visually the differences between the gen and rep can already be seen even if both are ceramic. I’ll do a proper review and comparison as there isn’t a proper one done so far yet with the gen and rep side by side. I will get down to this soon. Thank you for your patience.

Re: ceramic issues, have had mine for about a week and love it. No cracks of any kind in the bracelet or case.
Movement though has been an issue. Yesterday noticed the rotor wasn’t turning, looked under magnification and one of the movement tabs seems to have broken off and blocked the rotor. I opened it up and removed the piece and closed the watch. This morning was not winding again ao I opened it again and found one of the screws loose and pinned between the rotor and the movement plate, so I had to remove that also. Also I mentioned this in another post, but the rear screws were basically loose on 5/8 spots.
Another thing I have noticed is that the start/stop button has a different feel or action than the 4 o’clock split button.
Anyone else notice this?

Under my blankie
A lot of these reps the screws tend to be loose. When there's a screw I'd always inspect and blue loctite them.

But loose screw on the movement though.... that's scary.

Sounds like these ROs need to be sent for servicing upon purchase..... on top of having to worry about the CE flaws.

Such a disappointment.
