It should be light, according to general information on watch ceramics found in this great article https://search.app/UwHde6F7Rg6EBK5G8Is it heavy?
The case is 41mm, I measured its thickness, about 12.68mm. Stainless steel model is about 170.8g in weight, the ceramic model is 162.6g in weight.
I assume you're not trolling, yes this is normal, there is no watch ever made that has this feature, it's simply how screwed crowns work......I just received a black dial and it’s really nice guys….one of the best reps ive seen
Question…when I screw in the crown all the way, the AP crown logo doesn’t line up perfectly to the case
Is this a tell…or do some gens suffer from this ?
Obviously one option is to not screw it in all the way but I assume would risk water damage
The orientation of the AP text on the crown is random. This is true for gens and reps both.I just received a black dial and it’s really nice guys….one of the best reps ive seen

Weight is relative. How do you define heavy or light? Is it heavy?
Check Rolex Skydweller in precious metal, they have a patent about this haha.I assume you're not trolling, yes this is normal, there is no watch ever made that has this feature, it's simply how screwed crowns work......
You can see here a gen and his is completely upside down.....
I didn't know that. Thanks for educating, I'm learning something new everyday.Check Rolex Skydweller in precious metal, they have a patent about this haha.
In AP’s is totally random yes.
Yes I think this is the only watch I’ve seen this, and I don’t know if it is in all the SkyDweller range, for sure not on any other reference that I know.I didn't know that. Thanks for educating, I'm learning something new everyday.
The closest thing I thought was the NIAD lock casebacks used in certain Omega models.
Theoretically, it's completely possible. You need to know the pitch, screw length, and then align both the crown and the tube to be perfect. But the reality of this matter is so laborious to do this on a mass produced watch.
EDIT : For those interested, https://www.thewatchnerd.co.uk/righting-the-rolex-crown/
If i can't get the crown logo perfectly aligned this mean it's not the right day to wear this watch, and skip to another one (will retry tomorrow, and so on...)I assume you're not trolling, yes this is normal, there is no watch ever made that has this feature, it's simply how screwed crowns work......

Some days I spend 4 hours to try to get this aligned, and end to wear my samsung watch.
Hard life I know
Nope. Thankfully I had long sleeves on which caught it. Sure there would be more damage if I didn’t. Puretime is sending new braceletAh this is gonna make me hold off on the ceramic for now. any idea how this broke? Sorry to hear man
Well I'd say kudos to PT after all. AFAIAC I just ordered a SS with blue dial with them. Sure is sure.Nope. Thankfully I had long sleeves on which caught it. Sure there would be more damage if I didn’t. Puretime is sending new bracelet
I’m already dreading the qc process. I wish they would take more care to align the hour markers. The 3 and 9 are especially inconsistent, part of the reason I’d get a 15500 instead of a 15400 is to avoid the extra 3 marker hahaI’ve received QC from Andrew today for the green SS. I rejected it as there were too many misaligned hour markers; five of them were misaligned.
The THb openworked RO you mean?I ordered both the ceramic and also for new open works ceramic hopefully it’s isolated issue
