Sadly you are working with a brittle material that is a replica, you can't expect grade a quality, and even the smallest QC defect can make the watch and/or bracelet useless.

There is a reason the gen is double the price of stainless, they probably throw out several bracelets or cases before assembling one and shipping it to an AD.

I know we should have had better expectations, but at the end of the day it is a replica. I do not know what v2 or v3 etc will fix as it mostly comes down to proper care and QC when assembling...
I whole heartedly agree. I remember IWC ceramic cases, Hublot Big Bang ceramics, and Rolex ceramic inserts cracking. Sometimes from the factory, sometimes shipping, sometimes modders and sometimes improper handling. Ceramic composition plays a huge part into how well it'll handle certain stresses. To those who have had cracked bracelets, was there any fractures / indication in the QC? I'd assume not, since they may have been wrapped in plastic...!

I would then surmise that you have a rather well educated ass. 😆
My daily work requires thinking about this crap but mostly it's to do with steel pipelines and frames. I have 0 clue when it comes to ceramic material design, just some cursory knowledge on material properties 😂, so basically I know enough to know that I know nothing about ceramics 🤣

Where I need to be.
Since you’re Singaporean I’m reading your English as is.
If you were American….. XD
I was just joking with @Reaps as I happen to be on good terms with him. Please don’t misconstrue it as disrespect. 😆
I implied that I agree with him, that there is a fundamental design flaw in the bracelet which places extra stress on the bracelet in certain spots, causing it to break easily. I do not have scientific evidence and again it’s purely empirical at this point.

More hands on pictures of the steel versions please as much as I wish the ceramic was more durable.

Now that looks like a great AP ROC!! Beautiful. Can you check the bracelet to see if there are any factures or cracks?

...also, just look at those bezel screws!!

when I collected my watch from the boutique, there was a service center specialist present just to resize the bracelet for me.

Wait a second, Legend... 👀

You mean... Just ONE extra service guy waited there?

That’s it?! ONE?! 😳😳😳😳 Are we truly scraping the bottom of the barrel here?

This... this right here is why the idea of buying a $100k watch fills me with an almost existential dread of disappointment.

For that kind of money, I wouldn’t just expect service—I’d expect a heckuva ceremony.

I’m talking about like, seriously, 20 world-class models, each one selected through an Olympic-level vetting process, decked out in custom-fitted haute couture, wafting through the air like angels descended from heaven, hand-feeding me artisanal canapés while whispering affirmations in 12 different languages.

Alongside them, I’d want a kilo of meticulously refined Bolivian stardust, a fleet of perfectly chilled Rolls-Royce-branded champagne carts, and perhaps even a helicopter escort to personally deliver me to the penthouse suite of the Ritz Carlton, Shangri-la or Grand Plaza!

Is that too much to ask for $100k? (I know I'm delusional, please bear with me) 🤪😆

Given these expectations, it's about right that I expect DHL to lob my rep watch towards the general vicinity of my door, wrapped in thin and sticky plastic film and bubble wrap, encased in wet cardboard.
