Yes but if you want to make a 1675 you have to respect most of the characteristics of the original which has a 44 hour power reserve. Then by modifying you can put the movement you wantETA C07.621 is the Powermatic 80 daydate movement. Probably hard to get as well but 80 hours of power reserve should be pretty cool if the GMT parts fit.
You could also shorten the case tube I suppose. Just sand down the side of the tube that goes into the case and use some thread locker to ensure it sits securely.
Little bit of a different angle, I know mine is not perfectly squared off, but I guess the distance it depends on the reference image because some of the ones I found look pretty close to the bezel.
Just wanted to double check, is the tap M2.8x0.5? Just wanted to get that confirmed before I order anything.
I managed to bring the surface the crown tube screws in further in, but I can't get the crown tube to screw in flush with the new surface, put up some resistance screwing it in and won't go any further.

Ah, ok from the other photos it seemed closer to the cash register. For the thread it is a problem as this case uses a hybrid crown tube, on the case side instead of being M2.5 x 0.25 it is 2.8 but if you are looking for any original Rolex or aftermarket tube they are 2.5 or 3.0, so the pitch of the I don't know the thread, it's definitely not 0.5 because for example the 3.0 has a pitch of 0.35. I can't help you on this

I'll take it out and try to clean it, maybe that will help. The case tube hole will have the threads cut all the way through, if the tube won't screw in all the way check for glue inside the case threads - use acetone to clean them out.
It seems that is the way to go. Looking inside it seems the crown tube isn't threaded all the way through. I will attempt this and report back if I can manage to do it.You could also shorten the case tube I suppose. I think tomorrow or Wednesday imma nut up and take my files out. Im going to go for squared lugs.Excellent work on the crystal, surely you can do something better with those crown guards?!
I can recommend a rios 1931 strap if you are on a budget, otherwise bulang&sons.I think tomorrow or Wednesday imma nut up and take my files out. Im going to go for squared lugs.
Still praying for an answer for a correct crystal size. In the meanwhile, do you folks have a good recommendation for a leather strap that will go well with this? I want either a chestnut brown strap or a nice suede strap. I tried it on my tropic but i dont like how the straight ends look, might get a curved tropic instead. And it looks great on a ribbed OD green nato or single pass so thats one look i nailed.
Yup it' s a direct fit.IS the insert from tiger concept a direct fit with thé raffle case?
I used a Clarks 25-116 on mine, I think it's gen spec.I think tomorrow or Wednesday imma nut up and take my files out. Im going to go for squared lugs.

Well, great job, going well! I look forward to seeing new photos. So my build is coming along nicely. I really like the white lume plot look of the service dials and the raffles dial replicates this quite well, so I’ve decided to go for a fully serviced look with my build. Basing the CGs on a late 70s birth year model.
Just waiting for the Athaya crown (stuck in post somewhere for almost a month now!) and a decent quality Pepsi insert, although half tempted to go for a gen black insert too as the Viet bezel will accept the gen.
The dial, datewheel and hands from raffles are all ok, the gmt hand is a little shorter than gen. Dont think I did too bad at all for my first ever attempt at fitting the dwo on the hz6460! The movement has run steady now for over 24hrs so far and keeps great time.
How to to contact milk? IS this bezel assemblé expensive compare to viet ones?Nice work on getting the dial, movement, and hands together without losing any of the white dial printing.
If you haven't found an insert, Milk inserts are gen spec, and personally, I think they are better than the current 1675 offerings from Vietnam. His 1675 cases, bezels, and inserts are all correct dimensions, and can be interchanged with genuine or high quality Vietnamese pieces too.
Here's a picture of one next to a genuine service insert. The genuine service insert is slightly darker with more of a flat, navy blue tone, and the Milk insert is a little brighter. I don't think he was trying to replicate a service insert anyway; it has a red back.
