Great news about the TBB Blue from Angus at Puretime (from TBB thread on RG):
The ZF maker is also making a Black bezel and black crown insert

Angus, "Also a black bezel, according to the maker, haha, dont know why. But he said black looks nice and people will buy (not us) so he will make also the black bezel."

Now for the TBB Blue Angus got a sample watch but said the blue color is way off but the dial and hands look good.

First blue sample, color way off, doing a new color sample soon.
Red bezel dial updated to same gold color on hands and dial markers.

So now I will be forced to buy both the Black and the Blue.

Black and blue looks promising. But I think the red has this retro vibe going which many of us enjoy.

Its "Marketing" at its finest. Built-in flaws to justify an "improvement". Well, wait for version 3. Its already in the planning stage. The "flaws" in this new V2, are already itemized to justify version 3. And a price hike of course. Just like any other product, cars, cell phones, or anything nowadays. In the business world, its called justifiable improvements for the masses! LOL ! That's what keeps smart buyers from ever biting into this thing. And there are a ton of smart guys out there that would have tripled their initial sales if they "did it right" the first time !!!!.........just my take and honest opinion here :thinking: ..........so, lets see how this "improved version" goes, .......................back in the merry-go-round.

Pretty noobtastic guess. The more likely reason is that given the demand they worked on this until it was minimally acceptable, knowing they would sell all they can quickly produce. There is always time to finish and improve it in future generations.
