Just look at the qc pics. No major improvements. Either Angus was wrong with the improvements or V2 is not out yet. I bet in a week we know more.

If you compared those "V2" QC pics by Sora or whoever is the seller of these, to the progress pics by Angus (especially the blue), you would notice the difference between the crystal edges. This + the fact that Angus claims, he is the one who works closest together with the maker, leads me to the assumption that those QC pics don't show the final version.

I'm waiting on Angus or Toro to make the announcement on the V2. Angus seems to have a closer relation with the maker since he promoted the project in the first place.

Thanks for the info. Paid for mine but QC pic not ready as still waiting for stock availability. Guess will need to wait longer and make sure I get the V2 and not readily accept a v1.5
Hmm.. I was told specifically that these were "black bay V2 QC" photos.

I have owned the V1 ....Just ordered the AKA 1.5 we will see the difference! I would say what you see now!....Is what you see later...Hence the reason i ordered!..They aren't going to get that watch much better than what it is!!! They need to focus there time on the ceramic!LOL!!

Don't worry about minor price differences - shop after doing your own research on dealers based on reviews. Don't let $30 make you decide to go with a dealer that won't meet your needs.

Blue is my favorite color, so I will get blue. But the traditional Black Bay looks great on the strap. There is a rep of the strap and buckle coming as well.
