Sounds fair to me. This of course means they’ll be selling them to us cheaper right? We can go back from $880 Rolexes to $400, right? It’s okay if the watch isn’t the one they advertise, they only make 80% profit on the watches, please think about them!

My dealer sold me fentanyl instead of heroin, but I know he’s risking his life to do so for me, so it’s okay.

Do yourself a favor and lookup the price of a clean watch in China. It’s $300. We pay $900 after shipping to buy from a TD. TDs intentionally try to trick customers into buying poor QC watches, but it’s okay, right? God forbid the customer doesn’t want a sideways marker.

Did you forget when WM9 Subs were $900 ? If you can get a Clean watch for $300, get yourself on a plane and go get it yourself. I wonder how much oxygen gets to the brain of some people here.

For what it's worth, Blinken has visited china (last week?) , Germany is visiting these days. Chinese government likes to flex on similar occasions, the more so since some of the topics on the agenda relate to copyright matters.

There's no reason to be a fanboy especially in this fun hobby. If you haven't noticed, it's cheaper and faster to buy from local Chinese dealers. Check out 1688time subreddit. You're welcome. The downside is you need to use translation.

Back to the subject. Yes, the raids are still ongoing. My package hasn't left China in over a week. Hopefully things go back normal so that I could order the new VS PAM 1074.

I also think it's a charade and soap opera theater, without any sincere intent to truly change things.

People always like to point out that the Noob boss, or someone closely connected to Noob or him, is still incarcerated, but I think they view them simply as collateral damage (from the authorities' point of view). Yes, it's bad for that person and everyone else jailed... But it's not evidence that the Chinese government really has any actual intent of suppressing or completely removing the counterfeiting industry.

China is an Orwellian police state... If they truly wanted to shut this down, they could and would.

As to why they don't want to, I think the reasons are manifold, but at the end of the day, it's probably the same reason why the police in Thailand won't shut down the meth trade in their country. Because they belong to its main profiteers.

Right now i am using the search function and read
the rules and a lot of posts about the different factorys and there „special“ watches. I bought some watches tru a TD and i am thankful for the tipp wirh inTime/Ryan as a TD. He and his team are great to buy from and easy to communicate.
