Hmmm that's a strange reaction. 😂 Your reply sounds very sarcastic (as if you took the Boss' post as sarcasm). I don't know if your post was meant to be sarcastic or is just an awkward attempt at (Alaskan?) humor, but I just want you to be aware that @trailboss99's compliment was in no way sarcasm and was intended as sincere appreciation of a first post that (unfortunately) stands out of a sea of not-so-stellar first posts. 😉
I do appreciate his comment, I am just bad at humor. I’m sure I have some jackass awards in my future too. 😜

Just kidding, Congratulations! That's kind of a big deal, actually. Look around and you'll notice how few people have awards. Except for @g00n, who has multiple "Jackass" awards if I'm not mistaken (well earned though!) 🤣

Replica oblivion…
So essentially any authority reading this will know that their attempts at shutting down the factories has once again failed…..

It always amuses me to see how we are likely contributing to our own problem by providing additional intelligence on here at RWI for free…

Perhaps these kind of conversations are better served for all of us with a bit more mindfulness and much less candour. A private room on here if you will where paid up members only can discuss or perhaps we don’t discuss at all and leave the authorities to do their own work…. 🤪

Very true, yet in this age of information I see this as those dropping large sums of cash (granted not gen costs) wanting up to date information on production milestones for their orders.

I myself finally had QC 2 days ago of a piece ordered late March, I am fairly new yet appreciative this is not Amazon and freedom of information and consumer rights should not exist for the benefit and continuity of this industry.

Bold of you to assume the authorities have the genuine intent on shutting down the factories - I think more likely is just the renegotiation of 'business rates'! haha. It does look like this round of raids has blown over though.

Good for you for waiting, but unless I was expecting that wait at the time of ordering then usually every month I ask the TD where is my watch and if I'm not satisficed with the answer then I get a refund or switch to another watch.

I have had GMF, CLEAN and VSF qc's during this 'raid period'... I do think a large pinch of salt is needed.

Was Clean a GMT? I was told the GMTs are delayed/backordered but Subs were available, so maybe model dependent too.

I ordered an 114060 submariner from Clean last month. It was advertised as a VR3130 movement however when I received QC pics I noticed it had an OP39/Explorer 3132 movement in it. I asked the TD to ask the factory what was going on and he told me that they said the VR3130 is discontinued and Clean will no longer be using them in the 114060 no date subs. I asked about ordering another from CF thinking it was a one time mistake but he’s saying all of the new ones will have the wrong movement. I am assuming this is a result of the raids that were taking place around the time of order coinciding with this thread. I passed on it and changed my order to VSF as I’m willing to wait a bit/pay more and would like the correct movement. I thought anyone ordering a CF 114060 sub now might want to know that.

As I know, they got influenced by the raids, mov factory doesn't have enough stock for 3130 plates, they use 3132 plates as substitute. Clean will change them back when mov factory make more of it. 3130 and 3132 are mostly the same, only engravings are different
