Any of you Guys Open to sell one of your beauties? Would be awesome...I am simply in Love with the Prince...Sounds weird 😀
Hey,

I sold the silver Dial and I think I'll sell the two-tone and buy the black dial because it's more "discreet" I think. I'll make a listing on the forum

Sorry for the delay. I disconnected a little bit and also got flu.

A few members asked me to check the engraving between the AliX kit and the MKS.

- I can be wrong but I think the MKS's engraving is really better. AliX kit is engraving with wrong model (34mm without day). MKS is correct
- Both case looks similar and good.
- AliX caseback is off and MKS is pretty correct IMO.
- About dial, I can't really judge because they are different. For me, the AliX dial is better but I must try MKS's sunburst dial (I'll do it 😁)

Thx for sharing pics. I changed to a bb58 because Steve was so long to have a new exemplary. It was a bad choice: I don't like bb58 very much but too late. When I see your pics, I regret a little bit.
I made a lot of research about vintage tudor and rolex. I still hesitating on 4 options:

- vintage tudor date 34 mm, less than 200€ with riffle parts. Can really accurate if steel bracelet is avoid. The main cons is size: 34mm is really small

- Your choice. Nice watch for not so much money. No real cons but I think is lot of money for a watch I couldn't wear so much.

- Vintage Rolex DJ 36 mm: IMO raffles parts suck. You can source a Korean case for 500€. Made by hand and compatible with all rolex gen parts. You can made a really good for 1000€ with Korean case, gen dial, gen hands, gen crown and a 3135 clone movement. Main cons is of course the price.

I'm sure l'll hesitate for months 😅
Where can i source a korean case like what you mentioned?

Awesome pic Tictac789.
Have you or anyone done any weight comparison? b/t MKS and GEN?

The case itself feels extremely light compared with other 36mm tudors, e.g., BB36, 1926.

@pompompurin, what is the weight of your 76200?

I've been looking at vintage/old looking style watches lately and this one caught my eye. According to this thread, the MKS one is pretty good OOTB. Are there any dials that are more accurate than the other? In the pictures posted, the two silver looking ones (not sure if one is silver sunburst, and one is silver linen) look pretty nice. Any commentary?

Also, googling on the internet doesn't really tell me much. What years are these reps emulating? (90s? 2000s?)

How do you like this watch? Is the weight close to the gen?

I've bought this piece from the member above. I have the GEN Tudor with Champaign dial and will do a comparison as soon as possible. At the moment I am really busy with work

I previously owned 2 versions of the gen and I can say that it was extremely light on the wrist. I have a 19cm wrist so the bracelet was essentially fully linked and it was still very light. I don't think weight will be a tell on these

Good to know. From what I've seen in this thread, the MKS looks to be ready OOTB and apparently fixes some of the AliExpress issues so it seems like it will be a good rep.

Black dial and silver Dial is on the way to me. Must see on my wrist but I think my preference will be the silver one. Unfortunately I can't post QC pics. Pics coming soon ✌️

Would love to hear which one is most accurate. I know you've already had some so I'm wondering what you think of your previous two that you had (in terms of dial accuracy and what you thought of the gold plating). I'm still making a decision to buy my first rep and I think it would be one I would like to keep for awhile so I'm glad it takes a real easy to replace Swiss movement.

Considering of what i've seen on the net, I would avoid the textured dials but Dyna said it was great and he own a gen. I think sunburst is easier to rep. To me the gold plating is not so bad but don't own gen. You need to keep in mind gen are not gold plated but "gold copped" like you can see on this pic. So it's very different.

In my opinion, the gold plating is not something bothering if you wear it not so much like a dress watch.

Best option to me is to buy the stainless steel model and change the dial with a sunburst. You can easily find a good one. I have this one.
I consider doing it with gen dial and maybe old swiss 2836 if I can find it for a fair price.

No option is really perfect but a good base tho.

Also, if i may say so, i shouldn't buy this one as a first rep. This model is not the best rep you'll find and you maybe will be disapointed about rep watches.

Interesting to avoid the textured dials. They looked decent in the posts but I guess I don't have an eagle eye for it. I know that no rep is perfect so I'm not expecting the world here, but I appreciate all the info.
