Hello princes,

I'm a big fan of this Tudor date+day and still looking for the best model MKS is making.
I just received these two this evening. It's too late to make nice pics with sunlight. These pictures don't do justice to them. The choice will be hard... Maybe I'll keep both.

Tell me if interested with better pictures

They look good (although I don't know how they compare to gen of course). Those two watches are actually the two ones I'm trying to pick between since they don't have sunburst/linen (I figure plain is hard to mess up) and I like the two tone.

Yeah I prefer to avoid linnen dial even if a member who own a gen and the MKS told me it's quite good. I think there are different linnen dials.

The white one has a very light sunburst and become silver on some lights. Pictures are coming below.

First the on I finally choose to keep. Choice was hard because I love the glossy black dial. Looks even better IRL. White dial will suit better my style.

The dial is amazing but something bothers me: gold date disk is not very clear below cyclop.
Looks less versatile IMO. I'll release this one.

Solo next plan is: buy another SS and keep it since I find a nice gen dial. I already own a old 2834-2 movement.

Reconsidering the black one now after re-looking at it and seeing more pictures. I wonder which dial (white sunburst, glossy black) is closer to the gen.

For fun by the way, I was having trouble finding information on how they option/code everything. Here's a useful post I found off another forum:

Mid 90s-2021/2022, Asia only markets
76200 - SS Smooth Bezel
76214 - White Gold Fluted Bezel
76213 - Two-tone Yellow Gold Fluted Bezel
Dial options are black, blue, silver, white, linen, and some with California dials, Roman numerals, or alternating Arabic numerals.

Thanks for compiling the info for everyone, should also mention there was a salmon dial as well

Also I'm finding out from a gen owner that the white dial should be plain/matte with no sunburst. I noticed a lot of gen listings that had a "white" dial were actually silver (slight difference in color + sunburst).

You're right mate. I didn't notice it but theonewatches listed it as silver Dial.
I think the only one white dial is with roman numerals?

Next order is the white roman numerals so I can choose between this one and silver Dial.
It will be my 5th MKS, I'm done with this model 😅

Can't wait to see that one! Thanks for all your hard work. Admittedly I've been researching this watch forever because I really like its "unique" style so I'm just sharing what I can find here.

I've bought this piece from the member above. I have the GEN Tudor with Champaign dial and will do a comparison as soon as possible. At the moment I am really busy with work
Hey dyna - any chance you've freed up enough to do a comparison?

I'm going to do this between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, my mobile phone camera is very bad, so it wouldn't make sense. There will definitely be a comparison! Please be patient with me 🙈

I can tell you in advance that the Daywheel is even better centred with MKS than with GEN! The gold tone of the bezel and crown are of course immediately recognisable as false, but the rest is surprisingly well centred. I also think the feel is very good. But more on that in the comparison.

Thank you so much!! I was actually most concerned about the daywheel considering the issues we see on the rolex daydate reps and also how close the flute is on the bezel considering that always is an issue on rolex reps, as well (bc white gold even on the tudor princes for the fluted is my understanding?).

I wonder if can just swap on a smooth SS bezel from somewhere... Dont love the fluted look anyway.

Looking fwd to it!
