Their lug ends are also different.

Hey,

I bought a kit on AliX during 11.11 but haven't time yet to build it.
Honestly, quality looks not so bad. I mean, it isn't a 500$ rep but really not a shitter.
I can make some pics if interested.

Thanks a lot for the pictures! It looks quite solid to me, if you ask me the lugs look better in this than in the MKS, but of course I have only seen pictures of both and none in real life

1. For the R, in Gen a big portion of the last diagonal line should be left to the rightmost point of the curved line. Also in Rep, the last diagonal line seems to be a little curved, like ~. The end of the line in Rep is somewhat flat, while in Gen, it should be ticking upwards. Those are really subtle differences, but when you look at the dials a lot, they become quite evident.



2. Your dial is good. In my 34mm no day version, the 3 clock lume dot is missing. Raffles has the exact same incorrect dials. Their 36mm dial is of better quality.

3. I'm in the process of acquiring a MKS rep. Here's the QC pic I got.
