Why do you think they’ll go away or stay where they’re at?

I think ward is no longer a micro brand. Cheapo but not micro

I'd put traska before monta just because of the price point (and because I like their GMT)

So Patek basically copied AP......
well... interesting enough... take a look at the PP cubitus and you decide ;o). I think it looks like they stole the design from Benjamin James :D or they both ripped off the Cartier Santos !!!;)

but I like the BJ so much that I've cancelled my Farer preorder and ordered the Salmon Automatic instead - coming December!!!!

I wanted to include Formex for the Reef collection with interchangeable bezels but too expensive I guess.
Then Baltic.
And yes, Spinnaker, I failed to order an orange Boettger when it was available.
But micro brands tend to have stupid names and logos on the dial, I guess they should spend more effort researching this. Who wants a Benjamin James or Christopher Ward watch, even Formex sounds like a toothpaste brand. or Serica...I like the brand but the name sound like a cheap acronym.

Very tempted to buy that Traska diver. The mint is a nice look and just saw they released a dark green version as well. Anyone have the green?

Great list

Atelier Wen is nice but starting your watches out at that high price point means you're competing with alot of good brands, which is why they can't catch a break.

Also the "Made in China" stigma isn't going away any time soon from horology.

Yes, Jon Mack the founder is tuned in toward tweaking each watch line annually. The Freediver 6 is now out but do not hesitate to pick up one of the "older" ones if you pick up a deal. They are all terrific.

If you are intrigued by Traska, if you do an online query, Jon will write you personally to ask you if you'd like to have a 15 minute phone slot with him. I was blown away by that. I've had mine 2 months now and still in love with it.

Traska's claim to fame should be their 1200HV vickers coating. For a brand that is 1/15th the cost of Rolex, it unironically is a better Rolex than Rolex is now. A true "tool" that can be smashed around freely with a robust movement.

If Rolex came out with a hardness coating enthusiasts would claim the second coming of christ.

Hadn't heard of Maen or Trafford. That Maen Manhattan 37 is pretty nice looking, and I'm not really all that partial to square watches.
