if you feel adventurous you could try to fix it with a decal
It would be futile as I don't possess such skills :-(

I've always thought about that. Where could I get a decent decal for that?
Will you be called out wearing this as its missing the "professional" dial?

You'd need to diy. Bart Cordell has an amazing thread on it
The Speedmaster is out of stock the TD tells me, anyone experienceing the same issue?
It's the "First Omega in Space" numbered edition model. It doesn't have "professional" on the dial.![]()
Omega Experts:
How does my QCs look, despite missing professional on the dial?
Technically the FOIS has sword hands. IMO I'd say this looks closer to the Speedmaster 3539.50. That's the Speedy Reduced without numbers on the dial. The subdials are pushed out further making the 3 6 9 hour markers shorter just like the Reduced. The only difference is the 3539.50 has "Automatic" written on the dial. Then again, this is a manual wind, correct? Also I think this is a 42mm, and the reduced is a 40mm.It's the "First Omega in Space" numbered edition model. It doesn't have "professional" on the dial.
Damn, thanks. True.. I am on my phone now and it's hard to see the hands. And yeah, it does look like the later reduced models. To me it's easier to spot the shorter hour markers than it is to notice if it's 2mm smaller.
Also, you REALLY have to know you're Speedy models to know the differences.
