Will you be called out wearing this as its missing the "professional" dial?
https://www.intime01.co/omega/2980-...-bracelet-manual-winding-chrono-movement.html

My powers of observation are not that great. But if I noticed that the word "professional" was missing, my mind would initially go here: "I guess this guy has a slightly different version. This must be a subset of the Moonwatch with less features or a version sold in a different country." Or something like that.

Unless it looks like it's from a gum ball machine, "rep" wouldn't come to mind. Don't sweat it. 99.9999% of the global population has no clue.

That said, if it bugs you and you want to unload it at a deep discount, hit me up!

I've always thought about that. Where could I get a decent decal for that?

You'd need to diy. Bart Cordell has an amazing thread on it

https://forum.replica-watch.info/threads/decal-printed-dial.288290/

also there are several decal printing tutorials on the internet on "legit" homage related websites

I said that just because it's a fun project but personally i would not care less of the world professional since it's a nice watch!

Have you tried MR? He seems to have access to these more than other TDs, and at better prices.

Hey Nivka! Thanks for all the work you put into the list. Sadly, as is the norm with the replica world, many editions have come out since the original list. Any updates on which you think look most accurate? Personally, i'm okay with the subdials being off for the reliability of the st-19 over a quartz or a a7750 so which lemania/st19/venus rep out there do you think is best? I personally think things like 'professional', scooped subdails and numbers are much more noticeable then spacing. I was looking at the 2013 edition but maybe there is better ones out there. Much as I like the look of the plexi and the accuracy of it, I worry it'll get chewed real fast. I've always much preferred the Sapp glass for durability. Might have to just be careful. Thanks in advance!

What do you guys think about the Apollo 11 model from TT? Looks pretty good to me minus obviously the subdial spacing. I like having the Sapphire crystal so i'm not scratching the Plexi and altho i'd prefer the standard subdials from the OG moonie, I also like the uniqueness of the Apollo 11 40th anniversary model. Also like the reliability of the st19 over an a7750 or jap quartz

Omega Experts:
How does my QCs look, despite missing professional on the dial?

It's the "First Omega in Space" numbered edition model. It doesn't have "professional" on the dial.
Technically the FOIS has sword hands. IMO I'd say this looks closer to the Speedmaster 3539.50. That's the Speedy Reduced without numbers on the dial. The subdials are pushed out further making the 3 6 9 hour markers shorter just like the Reduced. The only difference is the 3539.50 has "Automatic" written on the dial. Then again, this is a manual wind, correct? Also I think this is a 42mm, and the reduced is a 40mm.

To me it's easier to spot the shorter hour markers than it is to notice if it's 2mm smaller.

Also, you REALLY have to know your Speedy models to know the differences.

Damn, thanks. True.. I am on my phone now and it's hard to see the hands. And yeah, it does look like the later reduced models. Looks much different than the 3510.50 I have.

Very informative gentlemen. I ordered from intime : https://www.intime01.co/omega/2980-...-bracelet-manual-winding-chrono-movement.html
Specs is 42mm, manual winding.
QC accepted
It's a great looking watch and I'm sure you're going to love it. Ryan is great too.

The Speedy Pro is my absolute favorite. I'll tell you from first hand experience, most Gen owners (unless they're collectors, an AD, or active in these Rep forums) would have no clue if that is Gen or not.
