Can't believe they messed the 2013 and 50th anniversary up that bad. Would have jumped the 2013 otherwise.

I found this amazing rep at Puretime. Been drooling at it watching the video. FOr the life of me, I can't figure out what's wrong with this rep. Looks pretty close or exact copy of gen. Am I right?

Wrong diameter (42 instead of 44), sunken date window, chrono-subdial at 3 not working, subdial hands in wrong position, bezel colour: too grey, 528$ way too expensive...besides, it looks nice

Dying for a nice speedy rep, just can't bring myself to like the sub-dial layouts of any of the reps. Obviously when dealing with reps you make some concessions, but this is too much for me. Hoping someone figures out a movement that will work with a correct sub-dial layout soon. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the pics and convos and keep looking for a gen.

Quartz is your only option for an accurate sub dial layout.

Reduced is the speedy model that incorporates an automatic movement. The subdials are spread out just like the reps are.

Honestly I haven't seen any reps of the reduced. I think it's because you might as well go gen for $1500 than spend $500 for a rep.. honestly though I have no idea why..

Though it seems kinda like a hybrid between the reduced and a pre-moon professional with the "Professional" text, caseback, and the applied Omega logo. :huh: It's definitely got the smaller case and the 7750 movement though. [MENTION=130015]IamNew[/MENTION] posted some pics a few pages back and seems to be happy with it.

Thanks for the link scott, not sure what that's a rep of, with professional below speedmaster it's not an automatic, but the size is halfway between both of them... <slap forehead>. I'm guessing whomever is making these reps is not an Omega fan. So many details so wrong on so many of them, and mixed and matched.

Looks like the Pelagos is my next rep, and still look for a gen speedy.
