Hey guys, I recently bought a quartz model from Toro, and put a cheap leather strap on it.

Overall im happy with it but not "impressed". It feels small. But i dont know if that is the rep or the speedmaster all together.

What do you guys think?

Hi All,

New member here and new to replica watches in general. Being in this thread I'm obviously interested in a speedy. I've seen Nivtka's comparisons, but I can't seem to locate the toro site and Aaron's special watches doesn't seem to have anything. This one looks great but is missing the moon case back, which is something I'd really like. http://www.silix-prime.so/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=116_231&products_id=2229. This one seems ok but is more expensive. I like the sapphire, even though the Gen didn't have it http://puretime01.com/speedmaster-m...-bracelet-manual-winding-chrono-movement.html. I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

Is the Puretime link I posted above what would be considered the Ruby version?

I gotta say I regret this purchase.

Its not only the subdial spacing or the fact that it has 24 at 3. The "depth" of the dial is way too deep, and the dial is flat, not doomed, which causes the face to look smaller.

Isn't the biggest tell for a quartz watch the tick tock motion of the second hand?

Is there any currently recommended 'go to' quartz rep?

EDIT: Looks like 21J and Quartz are the best bang for the buck. Thoughts?

Just to confirm... The only speedy with nicely 'dished' subdials is the 2013 edition, right?

does anyone sell normal speedmaster hands that would fit an ST-19? It might be sacrilege, but I'm just not that big a fan of the leaf hands.

They look really good. Trustytime as them as well:

http://www.trustytime01.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_81&products_id=15298

From what I can tell from the photos:

Obviously the subdial spacing is still off, but as the watch is a a little bit bigger it does not look AS bad as the old venus 75 based ones....

But then there is the dial.... It looks like a dial from the 2013 special edition. It does not say "Professional" under "speedmaster", and there are no grooves in the sundials.... Shame....

The Apollo 15 limited edition looks more accurate:
http://www.trustytime01.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_81&products_id=15299
But I really dont like red white and blue details on it - but thats a matter of taste

The 50th Anniversary also looks more accurate:
http://www.trustytime01.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_81&products_id=15297
... but I really miss the big Omega logo.

These are just my un-professional observations. I'd love to be corrected or get some more info from others, since I'm tempted to go for one of these....

Regarding the "new" Speedmaster models, I can't believe the missed the "Professional" in the regular model, and "SOth" instead of "50th" and no "y" in "Anniversary" on the 50th model.

Appart from those stupid mistakes (and the obvious subdial spacing), these were the first Speedmaster releases to actually look good, from a general feeling, point of view.

I wonder if they'll ever release a v2 with "Professional" added to the dial...
