A lot of the links posted no longer work , Im trying to figure out what the difference is between these two and which is more accurate/best out of the two :

Differences I can spot are thinner lume on the toro site and possibly not very recessed subdials on the WI , I really want the recessed subdials and that sort of matte grey effect the dial has in certain light if anyone can advise ?? Finger is on the trigger itching to be pulled and this is the only thing stopping me.

Anyone know if a gen speedy auto dial will fit the rep? I only ask because the subdial spacing almost looks the same.

I have recently spotted a picture of Mark Knopfler sporting a very nice Omega Speedmaster on Fratellowatches.com
This appears to be a gold cased/black faced broad arrow example, and it is absolutely stunning to me. It is a 150th anniversary edition 3693.50 with a leather strap.
Does anyone know if there is a good replica of this watch available anywhere? I have tried searching this great forum, but as yet not found a reference to it.
Any info gratefully received.

I bought a Quartz Speedy last week from a TD but the case back says Seamaster (I checked the QC pics but the TD said all the factories no longer have the speedy back).

How do I go about getting a correct case back? Other than buying gen?

Terribly overpriced, sunken datewheel. Look carefully for 2 minutes at the screws of the 2 movement pics: a.) the 3 center ones b.) the cheap ones drilled all over it;

Never heard about them but they are not listed as TD in the RWI.

I've read all this thread and i find it very helpful, a lot of info this is a thread I will read again and again to collect the right info, many thanks.

From what I read I understand that the quartz rep is more closer to the speedmaster design as it is closer to the gen BUT have anybody tried to fit the gen dial into the miyota os20 movement? Would it be a perfect fit?

The quartz rep sports the miyota os20 movement, hence the question.

This is the most accurate speedy professional I've come across. Quartz movement of course, but it's the special reference Apollo-Soyuz.
