btw, for those of you here who like to tinker and have a tendency to break or lose stuff like i do..
if you ever take the chrono pushers out on these watches. they are held in by tiny little E Clips.
if youve ever tried to put on of these back on, youd know this is almost a impossible task and you will more than likely lose it.
if you do lose it, hit me up. after a few days of scouring the web, ive found someone who sells the little clips.
i didnt wanna post a link bc hes not a TD on here or anything. hes some guy i found on the seiko forums and sells these in 4 packs.
they look like this
but are TINY. less than a mm.
they go flying across the room if you try to grab them with tweezers.
if you ever have to take these off or put them back on, i recommend working in a plastic bag.
the one on my reset pusher was very loose and with a light tug on the reset pusher, it fell off and went in to the movement and stopped the watch.
finally was able to get it out but it went flying across the room when i tried to put it back on.
take a look at your speedys and make sure the little retainer clip is on there tight!
if its loose, take the movement out, push the pusher in and squeeze the open end together with a pair of needle nose pliers.
believe me, you do not want those little clips off the pusher and in the movement.
if you do happen to lose the clip though, taking one of the tiny o rings off the pusher (they have 2) and putting it where the clip was will prevent the pusher from falling out.
its a short term solution though.
