If you see something you like my sincere advice would be to send the link to Tim (Fat Panda) and see if there is a similar VR watch. The quality is so high and the price is materially lower-$270-285. Worst case he finds you the same watch and his photos aren’t misleading. Never any surprises and super responsive. Photo and video QC. 5 minute response time if not sleeping. American Chinese so very easy to work with language wise and good humble guy with nice personality.

So, Chazingtime found me a 26mm Rolex DJ with a refurbished ETA movement for $302. Is that worth it? My mom has been looking for a Rolex DJ with a size of 26-31mm. I've been reading this thread and seems to me that VR is the best factory for them? What's the best method to ask Tim about what kind of Rolex DJ I want?

Also, I have pictures of my moms Cartier 25mm Tank if anyone wants to see it.

With Tim it’s always best to send a picture of the watch you want. If the replica exists send the link if you find the gen send that. VR makes 31 I haven’t seen smaller but ask him. Watchfinder @ runbox . Com

I'm abot to order DJ from Tim also but, from M6 factory. Mine will be in a 27mm size. Did you choose DHL shipping?

I’m glad you think so! I think it’s pretty great too and sort of puts BP to shame in the smaller sizes. For the same price. Or less in some cases. My earlier BP+20 rough pricing was inaccurate. I looked at a basic stick model. But the ones that have simple elaborations start shooting into the mid 300s. None of mine went above $300. I’ll be posting the QCs as they come in.

I have been searching for a great rep for the wife, she prefers the small faces so 26 or 28 are ideal and the mix of rose gold and silver is very smart imho. I will give the email you quoted a try and see what comes of it!

Great. Also you might ask the earlier poster who obtained the 27mm for his qc. Just an idea. Tim goes both video and thorough pictures so you might get a good sense. I asked him about M6 having never heard about it and he said that they do good work in the instances he’s ordered from him. I haven’t seen it but I’m curious too! Good luck!

I didn’t choose shipping yet. I don’t think we discussed that last time but I remember him saying he was working on expedited methods. He rejected one of my watches so my QC will finish up tomorrow.

Im not sure who VR fac (in previous posted pics) is, but they clearly made the rehaut way too deep. You can drink a glass of sauvignon out of that lol

Thank you. Are you sure? I wish I had my gen with me - it’s in Europe right now - but it’s a 2010 31mm with pave and it is pretty deep. These are styled after that line which introduced the “bubble bezel” if I’m not wrong. Mine has a bubble bezel. What watch are you comparing it to or is it a general observation?

That’s true it is a newer factory focusing only on getting the smaller Rolexes right from what I have understood. I will have them in a week or so. The smaller one is an older model. I do think there is a difference in rehaut in gen but I take your point completely.
