I use Tim who is an RWG TD and I believe will be one here shortly but don’t quote me. But pick your poison. The rehaut is high on the VR. The datewheel is jacked on the BP.

I prefer the VR bezel and datewheel and to have someone slim the case.

So to follow up on this I think the consensus is that the rehaut needs to be slimmed and then these are very good not perfect. The BP bezels and datewheels are a big tell. Pick your poison. I take VR.

I bought a couple of so called version 2 BP 31 mm DJs that had a similar date appearance issue. I had previously purchased several 31 mm Rolex DJs made by BP and the date looked pretty good to me, but slightly more to the left in the date window because of the movement used. However, I was able to have the date appearance fixed in the V2 by a modder. It turned out the problem with the V2 watches wasn’t the date wheel, but the cyclops. The modder was able to remove the BP cyclops, replace it with a gen cyclops and the horrible date appearance was solved.
I have a picture that I sent to my TD comparing one of my earlier purchased BP 31 mm Rolex DJs, a gen model and the so called version 2 BP model. The TD gave my comparison to the factory and apparently BP has done nothing to solve the problem. If I can find the shot and figure out how to post a picture here, I will.

I’m just going through this again to follow up and make sure everyone found what they’re looking for. Tim found 26mm from M6 factory that looks reasonably nice from the photos I saw. VR in 31 has to be slimmed a bit. BP datewheel and bezel are jacked and limited Dial options. Patek nautilus quartz 32mm is something I’d throw out there for consideration. My band is not sized as I’m waiting for toro Bravo to send me a new clasp but here is a photo.

So you can get any of these combinations from VR but may want to get it slimmed it’s 2mm thick. If you read recent comments you can weigh the pros and cons of VR vs BP. I am hands down for VR and slimming the case at this point.
