Had the gen on my wrist last week at an AD in Berlin. Quite some wrist appearance I must say

Ordered kw/vf6 from Ken just minutes ago. Xmas present for myself!

Gen is a bit more rounded, but KW looks far nicer than Z.
(Sorry for the huge pic, but it's the only way to see it)

I've had the ZF version a while ago. Sold it. This one seems better IRL, might be a keeper, we shall see..

So far in my quick observations:
Bezel rotation feels more solid/firm and smooth, different from the ZF one.
Bezel knurling is slightly better than ZF, dial printing is crisp, lume is really good.
Rubber strap is different from ZF. This feels almost gen. Hard to describe but you'll definitely feel it.
Pearl is still a little off.
Watch out for misaligned markers and datewheel in qc, not sure if its widespread but my recent 441, 438 and this had qc issues with date alignment.
Watch does feel gen in the hand, so far KW has not disappointed me in the build quality of their latest watches.

I paid less than the ZF one for this, so for me this was worth it!

We will wait for new QC pics in order to see if they are just some units with flaws or all the batch is like that

I still have an empty case-set of ZF's 389 and KW 389 should be with me within few days so I will directly compare.
