Well this is the official photo of the gen, so I'm sure this is the color corrected shot. Can anyone please confirm that yours looks like this in person?

Colour corrected or not it depends on the viewer's monitor. Unless they have a studio quality colour corrected monitor they will not be seeing what you are anyway.

finally my KW 389 has arrived
great watch it's still very hefty watch eventhough it's titanium which is supposed to be lightweight.
just have a few questions, how to make the CG pin flusher ? i meand on this 389 kw the CG pin protude by about 1-2mm
how to make it more Gen like ?
thank you.

oh BTW the accordion strap is awesome!!!
i have owned accordion OEM from my pam 243 and this is like 99% the same !!!
i have rep normal rubber and that one is sticky and lint magnet, but tthis KW389 accordion rubber is feels so GEN .
anyway the accordion that comes with it is 26/22 if i want to make a custom leather form strap maker what size should i get that match this beast ?
26/24 or 26/26 ???

anyway can this automatic ST255 be manually winded ?
i mean when i dont wear it for a few days it stops, and when i put on the wrist again should i manually wind them for a jump start or just shake the watch ?

Sorry to charge in but I guess I'm concerned on the minute markers cos everything else looks good except for those. I realize even the KW version has inaccurate markers like the ZF ones. Do they look too long compared to the gen?

What I know is that the rep 389 O Series (if I'm not wrong on the series) has more accurate minute markers in terms of the length than the current KW/V6F and ZF when compared to the gen. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong guys. :)

By the way would also wanna ask if anyone knows how to fix a dented CG? Dropped my ZF and heard that sickening thud.
Plus I guess I was too excited about getting a new watch that I forgot to Scruitinize all the QC photos sent to me. I realized that my 45 marker is only half painted black. :( able to advise guys? Pics below. Thanks a lot!!!

Hey Pamfanatic
Think you can just paint the 45 with a fine hobby brush and just polish the marker for the excess paint. But looks like you need a new CG for the dent.

PS how did you get that rubber strap for 47mm. I've never found 26mm version with the TDs, only 24. Or is it gen? I find all the accordion type diver straps uncomfortable and bulky. Thanks!

For the 45 marker you can grab some Hobby Paint and a fine brush and put a tiny dot on top of the marker. wait about 15 seconds and wipe away with your finger. Done. I did this to all my markers. Came out great.

Just built my 389 Frankenstein using the KW 389 as base.
Here are some dial comparisons, gen left, rep right:

Thanks @ALE7575
The KW dial is very nice, but is susceptible to damage around the edges.
Faults with KW dial:
1) lume a tint too green
2) hole for CP too small
3) text print not as sharp, bright and beige
These seem to be common problems with alot of rep Submersible dials: 305 as well has these problems.
Of course, the dial feet are positioned completely differently on the rep dial, and that is the challenge: adapting the gen dial to the rep dial mounting system.

Thanks for the complete info

I saw the different position of the dial feet. Nice you found the solution

Hello everybody
Sorry, first titanium sub ...
It seems to me or really bad CG, too shallow, without "oblique" angles
