Comparing with ZF (Ale's image) bottom KW, seems like neither is good...

Other problem is with KW's side case shape which is worrying me now.. look at above and then compare with this gen side:

...looks I might be lucky to have spare ZF's caseset and combine the two to get most perfect one If parts will match.... :/

That is a tough part to polish properly to gen spec. The machining will also need to be redone. I would say it would take in total 8-10 hours to get the bezel up to snuff.

I was not writing about bezel.. look at the rest, shape of the side, lugs...

Gen camera angle was taken from higher position and rep was at level if you know what I mean but yet again it does look bad being not same as gen case shape well we'll see further detail of other opinion

but if that the case, it is questionable why the gen photographer didn't align it before taking the picture.
I think the interval between each clicks are very far.
So one click anticlockwise will make the pearls way too the left. Is it possible? :ambivalence:

Polonus this is a good catch !!

You are completely right !! and this is a very bad new for KW PAM 389

As above mentioned by myself, there are some things, as markers, Cannon pinion, CG chamfered corners, ceramic bezel and its fitting with metallic bezel...which are better in KW. But this inaccuracy of the shape of the case is really disappointing for a KW rep, even the finish seems no completely good in some QC pics.

This seems serious. I think I will have to change my previous judgements

Well yeah it's a shame bro, it's not up to super rep status however it has its own pros and cons. At the end of the day it's really just what flaws you can live with. Case shape is wrong but finishing is really good I have to say at least on mine and very nice cg but bezel kurling is somehow deeper than gen. It's a very good watch however

I got my KW 389 today. Yes, the side shape is a bit different than gen (where ZF is better on this one). Is it a problem? No. Does it prevent the watch from being super rep? Yes, it does. All the rest is better than ZF's creation: better dial, better hands, better CG, even better strap. Even internals (movement holder, soft metal cap) are made better. Bezel works one class better than ZF's one, no doubts.
