@jpohl402 Case size is the same but I think the Lebron dial diameter is wider by a bit indeed. That's why it looks larger.
I don't have a caliper but quick measure: GP dial diameter: 3.35 cm while Lebron and 44mm Panda dial diameter: 3.5 cm.
GP dial is smaller because it has the ring that holds the crystal.

I am paying for a carbon today- already approved pics for the platinum one and once the RG is out I'm for that also. I can take care of the sub @12 and the tachy , and along with my crystal and a gen strap that is it- only hope that the plots will take the gen strap without all the moddding that the noob plots required.

It could just be the lighting but the color on the tachy doesn't seem dark enough and the red dial seems a bit bright too.

I'm no GP expert though...

From the way that the screw heads on the side of the deco plates are all perfectly aligned, I am getting the ill feeling that the plates are glued onto the movement.

when i look close on psychospike pictures they use the 7750 mvt clamp positions. you can just make out chewed screw heads. for the fake srcew on the plate maybe the chinese should vary the slotted positions to meake it look real :silly:

Too bad about the dial and tachy. My first impressions without reading this thread were Lego toys. Only did I see the gen did I realize it was a good piece. I don't see how the j12 is worse than the noob. Better case construction, screws and pushers with deco movement. that's a huge step forward, it would make a better base to mod than the noob, where you probably only used the movement and had to change literally everything.
