One thing I always wondered why they haven't made watches named after still alive famous F1 drivers like Mario Andretti (won F1 championship, Indy500 and Indycar championship), Niki Lauda (more famous for his burns than his 2 F1 titles) or some other still living F1 hero of the past. They are probably also much cheaper to endorse

Guys, just stop dreaming. Repainting a dial is a hardcore job! Just for pro's.
You must be a expert for that kind of paint job, it's nothing like "let's try and see what happens".
Except you have 5-10 dials lie around for training.

Can always use paint thinner to scrap the paint off in case of mistakes. Lol.
But yeah, it's not a job that can be done on a whim at a night off. Need preparation and determination.

I'm not a Trulli fan (far from it) but "his" watch is superb!
But, you're right Buemi, how the hell did he get a watch named after him.. must have been that 7th place finish in Brazil?
What's next, the AP Taki Inoue?

The first post in this thread only shows 2 dials. Are we certain that there is a 3rd watch coming?

The black dial shown in the first post is for the RG version...

Yup.. I never heard of him until..... err.....

I saw the AP Buemi and then later I saw him and wondered why he has the name same as a watch... lol

hes one heck of a racer... props if they ever do a niki lauda AP, perhaps the watch would bear burnt marks hes one heck of a smart racer

would eagerly await some wristshots of the GP wooky, it seems your one of the few to get a couple of them

Well, DHL says its due to be delivered on Friday but the DHL Depot is near my work place, I expect (hopefully) it to clear customs tomorrow morning/afternoon, if it does, I'll pop into the DHL Pickup point and grab it a day early

The GPs are growing on me.. I keep looking at the photos. especially the platinum.

Mine hasn't even left China/hong kong/turkey/afghanistan or whereever it's made from!

That's the precisely my reason for ordering GP.

For about 95% of the time, the TD's photos are really bad. They look so cheap in the photos but when you see it for real it's like 'WOW' ;-D
