Maybe they have not sold enough Schumachers to cover the cost of the Schumacher gen? So now the other reps are more expensive.

Unless you have seen a gen from the makers in pieces I'm very skeptical they are using a gen to replicate these pieces. Too many discrepancies in dial color, etc if you have a gen in hand. As for the price increase I think it's to account for possible loss in shipping as packages are being more scrutinized coming from China, just a hunch given the Chicago seizures as of late. All in all prices are going up to prepare us for the upcoming plate mod versions imo. Only time will tell once they release. I don't think a new movement is shared until late towards the end of the year, gotta liquidate a lot of inventory still.

I'd prefer a "standard price" (as Watchstation) + an additional warranty (optional) for custom risk, damage parts, return policies, etc...

Yep, moving away from so-called TDs as I found this guy is doing much better real qc and waterproof test. PT has no chance winning.
PT does the waterproofing test as well (Angus showed the machine he bought a year or so ago). I still take the results with a grain of salt, but its nice to know the case doesn't have any massive gaps in it.
Will do... not one for Watch DIY but if there's anyway I can help, i'll do my best once the watch arrives..
Got a nice matt black hornback with black stitching sitting around that I think will look great on this
