You need to do some more reading. There are new movements with less gears that solves the issue with secs @ 6. Only remaining issue is the dirtiness of the movements.

Kenny, I would be more cautious. :D

^ I aint sold on the leszs gears also. We need some proof of more stability than chucking $350-$400USD on these watches.

If I didn't do my homework I wouldn't make such a comment, now would I?

Not only Domi btw. Plus it was really shitty what he did in the other thread. Shared knowledge is the way to go.. Anyway, yes, it should fix the issue, I should have added that to my sentence. Nevertheless even old style mods have been working quite ok. I still have last year's 3714 without any mods and it runs well (with some jerkiness of course).

And this particular watch is built using this new movement you describe with fewer gears in the transfer train? Has this been confirmed? If so, does anybody know if the same movement is suitable for 3714 reps? (i.e. does the sub-dial spacing match and will the movement fit into a 3714 case? Thanks.

There is a new model of the IWC Spitfire 3878 on Perfect Clones´ site:
http://www.pf-818.com/iwp00110-3878-ssle-black-7750-p-18411.html

This versions datewheel is well centered and not sunken anymore, so they fixed this issue, but the dial seems to be black and not grey?!
Or is this just the over photoshopping on all of the pictures on this site?

Dial should be grey just like the prototype, but some dealers choose a potato over a camera to take pictures with

I dont think it's the camera. It's just a new (wrong) dial colour. There isnt such a bad camera, not even in China.
