What I was told is that the factory stopped producing them, I did not have any plating issue with mine.

Do you wear it out often? How’s it holding up?Bought on 17th November, and received on 27th November. I think David’s credentials are reputable and enough but anyway, here’s my experience. The shipping is insured at my choice, to the value of the watch, with the invoice attached to the shipment indicated as watch repair. Received it in bubble wrap in a protector case. Photos are taken with iPhone 13 pro max. It really is difficult to work around with the glarePictured is how I received the watch. There were minimal plastic wrapping on the bracelet.

Unfortunately I don’t have a vemier caliper.
The push and stop button is firm to press, but the reset button is not. Satisfying engagement nonetheless.
Here’s my attempt to take the rehaut but to no avail. The CF panda rehaut is more visible. I can barely see the rehaut at the bottom of the watch.
As mentioned, the rehaut is difficult to see.
There are some scratches as you can see.
As pictured, this is the most I can screw in for the crown - it is rather tight.
Anyway, can’t wait to size it and enjoy it. Cheers lads!

25 to 30 micron, if true, is a huge amount and should last for many many years, really need to put an XRF gun on it
There are manufacturers making ap tungsten cases, but they are not real tungsten cases. They put lead weights in the stainless steel cases, which increases the weight, but not a lot. Reference vs heavy ym42
Real tungsten ap is not made by any factory yet.

Read the post more carefully. He said that there are no AP tungsten cases.
There is a difference between making the whole case tungsten alloy, or just adding a ring of tungsten to make it heavier.
I hope they don't use lead... lead is poisonous and contamination risk can occur during building/ servicing/ manufacturing/ reshaping. You also don't know for sure whether the lead parts are exposed to skin or sandwiched somewhere.
There's no way in hell I would want a weight-accurate watch with lead over such health and safety risk.
