The squares on the dial look too small or too spaced apart? Not quite sureI have some doubts about the dial…doesn’t look decent

well the good thing about the dial situation is that there are some 15450 dials out there for around $1000.
I feel like that’s reasonable for frankening.
What worries me more is the date situation on this one. Feels off centered to the right and slightly slanted

Based on some other feedback, it seems like the dial tapisserie "engraving" isn't fine enough, resulting in incorrect lines per square (6 vs 9). I'm not an AP expert so am unsure if this is accurate or not.
Hopefully we'll see one of the other factories jump in on the 15450 trend - I'd love to see a ZF quality dial in this size.
Woah. Awesome. I have never seen a gen in real life, so dial print is no big deal. There will always be a flaw in the rep world.

Date is really bothersome, hoping to see QC on the blue one from @Akilles to determine how it looks on the blue model
I just pulled the trigger on the stainless blue dial. I'll post some QC once I get it from the TD.

I really sincerely think the "1" is like this on gen - centered based on the width of the overall character, not centering the long line.
So sounds like it’s fine? Just a gen dial should definitely do the trick to get it looking really good then

The 3120 clone currently as we know it does not have instant change at midnight due to the particular mechanism that is spring loaded in gen not existing on the rep 3120. Expect this to be a slow change date at midnight.
Yes, I'm aware of it. The big question is if this clone movement has been improved. I don't think so but you never know...

Haha my bad, I didn't see it was you asking the question - of course you know these things lol.
Would the zf v2 15400 have the same date change speed as this 15450 which claims instant ? As far as I know the 15500 has an immediate date change which I thought this one would have.
