VSF doesn’t seem to be interested in GMTs. I’m still not sure the VSF GMT2 is actually from VSF.I hear ya, I’m surprised VSF haven’t done one. If they release one I’ll be tempted to get another in the black dial maybe
Mate try ado213 his a watch Smith in the UK also in this group. If anyone knows of a decent watch smith in the uk that can work on reps please hook me up as I need a guy thanks
The movement in the GMT does leave a bit to be desired. It now feels like the keyless skips a bit when winding, even from dead stop. I can get it to stop skipping if (with the back off) I put a little pressure on what I think is one of the axles of the pinion. With just the slightest pressure from a toothpick.
Outside looks great, inside looks great, just skips.
Starting to look for a local watchsmith that can clean it and resolve the issues. Beautiful looking, functionality of watch aside from winding crown, is what I want in a GMT watch.
Hopefully I can find a local watchsmith that can resolve. Otherwise a great
When I am winding my gmf 226570, it has now started to give me a click/skip after one full rotation. Almost as if a spring is falling back into some space. Does this sound like the same problem you encountered with the keyless? The movement in the GMT does leave a bit to be desired. it isnt, most the gmt experts are saying it has mostly clean parts that were from older batchesVSF doesn’t seem to be interested in GMTs. I’m still not sure the VSF GMT2 is actually from VSF.
Hi,AFAIK - somebody correct me if I'm wrong) GMF uses SH3285 movement while CF uses a -some say better - Dangdong VR3285 but they are not interchangeable, anyhow you can't get VR3285 anyhow, while SH3285 is available from AliX.
Could you provide an AliX link where this movement is sold and the seller is reliable? (If it is possible) I've seen several but I don't know if they are reliable.C+ does not have the same movement as GMF. hence the date window on the C+ is off and not as true to gen as GMF. GM uses Shanghai movement, which is less reliable but the movement can be sourced separately.
