I concur with you about being the right size. Somehow, with the tweaks carried out from the 216570, the 226570 feels just about right.

My GMF black shipped from JTime July 18th. QC pics looked very good. Guessing it'll be another two to three weeks till I see it.

I’d always planned on getting the polar, but after looking at a bunch of photos of the black one, I changed my mind.

The GMF Explorer is a a very nice piece. Nearly flawless. I would just point out that it wears and looks really big on the wrist. Maybe because of the stainless steel bezel. I can wear watches up to 44mm diameter like pam´s but in my opinion the expl looks bigger on the wrist than 44mm pams.

Indeed… if it’s possible for an idiot like me to do mod the DD3285 to get it to work in the Explorer 2, then surely the good folks at Dandong Movement factory (and CF) are on this like a fat kid on candy.
