It's getting really close! I'm excited since gen Volcano dial and tachy recently surfaced for sale. That case would make an easy drop in setup! Thank you for the update Buff.

I'm sorry but I never believe in this project.
I'll be very surprised to see it finished...

ok.... so what is the contribution of your negative post? noobs, pffft....

:picard2:
I'm sorry for you but I'm not a negative man. For sure I'm not an enthusiast...
Every "noob" like me can take an afternoon and read the 39 pages of this thread started since June 2013, and has his own point of view....
As I said (I ever use "I" in my post to mention my own opinion), I don't believe in this project til I be contradicted.

It's very easy to sit at the computer and judge when you don't have to come up with the money or lift a finger to do anything. Even before the caseset is done, I have already sunk in considerable amount of money to make molds for the rubber parts, and numerous changes to the caseset to make sure they fit with gen parts. Perhaps it looks like a never never plan to you but for the amount of work that has gone in to this project and for you judge so easily in MY view is a little rude. As you rightfully point out, it has been more than a year now since we started the thread, but what you fail to see is that a gen watch sits disassembled in parts, and money used to buy this watch and make molds and parts have been lost for more than a year.......

My grandmother used to tell me...."it's better to be quiet and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and prove that you are one".

It's been a very very very hectic week. There are so many different samples to go through and production is on going for a couple of models. Anyways, here are the pics of the latest progress. Just made the tachy out of aluminium. The movement ring for the LWO is done and we are testing it now. The finishing is done on the case and it fits perfectly with the rubber parts. The glass has been ordered and should be ready in a few days time. Now the only outstanding parts are the pushers/ crowns and the screws.

A little tired to type more, so here are the pictures of a mock assembly.

Also turns out our first sample for the strap is most accurate. The new one is too small.

I really hope so... If this project comes true, I'll be one of the first who will buy this.
