I am currently enjoying a Spätburgunder from a local, here in Baden-Baden.
It has a light berryish smell and a kinda raspberry taste, very good!

Big fan of the stuff from Jasper Hill, I've met the winemaker mutiple times.
Currently sipping a 2012 Grenache. Heathcote, Australia is truly a up-and-coming wine regon.

Aussie reds in general are great. If you haven't had any do yourself a favor and try a Barossa Shiraz sometime.

Asked around for the same bottle of the 2005, and sadly couldn't find it, and sure it isn't the same drop (as yours @granvino) but still fantastic.
Could easily age for another 5-6 years but drinking very well now.

Not sure if this counts as fine wine, but my wife decided to open it up tonight. Nearly forgot we had a few bottles of this on the rack!

Honestly all Dave Phinney or Orin Swift wines are fantastic. They have the cheaper "Locations" brand, which are really good for the price point. Then they have mid-end vintages that are fantastic. He has developed a cult following out here in CA. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you haven't already. The Machete is one of my personal favs.

I'm not anywhere near a wine expert, just know it makes dinner better. This was pretty good stuff.
