Thanks for this list, has been super helpful! I've read elsewhere that the Explorer I 214270 JF v2 is a potential super rep if they would revise the ireggular spacing on the 'Explorer' text otherwise it's pretty much nearly a 1:1 clone minus 1 other discrepancy which hopefully a v3 will fix in a few months.

The conversations seem to announce/accept it's been decided and a done deal, however in searching this Consensual List I don't see any updates or discussion on the topic.

The buyer's photos looks much improved for the Explorer font
However, the one TD I found claiming to be updated, their photos I can't tell much if any improvement. (and +$80 premium)
TD makes no specific claims on their website, other than product name 'New Black Dial', and on their RWI TD section, no updates/mentions there either...you'd think there'd be a thread going on about it.

So far, none of the below discussions have stated which TD was used, and none have exclaimed any increase in price.
There are still other folks with recent purchase from other TDs saying they're still getting un-corrected font.
The folks claiming 'its all fixed' seem certain, giving the impression that it's been decided and a done deal.

Can you specify what is the tell ? I'm not sure I see it. Is that the thickness of the crown ?

You see that on the gen the crown is made to create an effect like if it has light on the edges coming from the bottom. Don't know really how to explain it, but I've compared it in real life with a friend's Gen op and the crown logo is totally different. Those photos of the gen I posted are exactly how the crown looks in real life. Also the milgauss, skydweller from this era have the same crown effect.

Numbers 3 6 9 on JF Explorer updated dial, the prior v2 dial numerals is said to be too thin and the shape maybe too curvey, something like that....not that this would preclude SuperRep as I've seen consistent feedback that the font was the only thing holding it back....I was just wondering from an experienced eye if the numerals were updated in the new font dial.
