How much would that cost? An arm and a leg surely? Also tempted, although these badly require Gen crystal/gasket and crown… decisions, decisions

buy it first and see if you like it.How much would that cost? An arm and a leg surely?
I'm not super picky with QC but look at the 3 aligned with the crown and it becomes obvious.
I will check with my watchmaker but I believe 32xx series had clamps instead of feet so you have some play so no dial snipping necessary, I only need a small shift left by like 1/2 a minute tick... all I'm wondering is if the VR3230 works like this, I heard it was a hybrid so maybe it still uses feet?well, tell us when you get the watch.
Until then, no need to stress about it.
adjusting a dial position can be done two ways. The simple way is to snip off the feet and position the dial with double sided tape dots. The right way is to solder the dial feet in the new position

yes, but did you look at the alignment of the rehaut with the tick marks?I'm not super picky with QC but look at the 3 aligned with the crown and it becomes obvious.
I've only ever RL'd due to movement health concerns (once, Clean Daytona had a stuttering chrono that I RL'd).
I did, it's a little blurry but the tics are off by 1/2-3/4 minute tics. Guess I won't know until I get it in hand. All I wanted to know was if this was fixable haha, I'll just ask my watchmaker to do his best when I get it serviced.yes, but did you look at the alignment of the rehaut with the tick marks?
the crown is probably not aligned in the photo because the watch is facing the camera tilted down
Well, looking from the pictures, the only thing that the 39 Clean does better than BP imho is their rehaut. Everything else looks the same on such a simple watch.I might've missed the comments on this, but initial thoughts on BP 39mm vs Clean? I have the BP. Great watch, just would prefer better lume and the movement upgrade to 3130. But not if BP overal is better. @KJ2020 perhaps you already commented?
no don'tHello! I just order the 39 from chazingtime - will post QC images when ready
VR 32xx movements do have dials with underside rims that friction fit to the date indicator seating (date plate). There is usually a little bit of rotational play available in the dial until the slotted rims butt up against a date plate protruding tab.I will check with my watchmaker but I believe 32xx series had clamps instead of feet so you have some play so no dial snipping necessary, I only need a small shift left by like 1/2 a minute tick... all I'm wondering is if the VR3230 works like this, I heard it was a hybrid so maybe it still uses feet?

Even if that happens, the tab or the dial rim can be shaved a little to permit further rotation. It's possible your dial is already rotated anti-clockwise as far as it will go.
Doing any of this rotation will likely require the hands to be re-set for obvious reasons. But at least on this watch the datewheel, date window, and cyclops are not present to become limiting issues. Those elements are significant factors to doing this on date watches.
I see the photos and it seems like horrible quality to be clean. the 12 o'clock marker misaligned. The minute markings on our edges were not glued to the wall in the original, hands with not very fine polishing, not to mention that the clean has the "explorer" mark under the hands (not above), the thickness of the marks in hours should be greater than minutes,… In my opinion, the only thing that's clean is the sticker.
sorry I just realized it's 36, not 39... sorry.
