Clean has released Rolex explorer 124270/214270 black dial on ss bracelet

Left is the 39mm 214270 which the gen had no AR,
Right is 36mm 124270 blown up, which has AR.

I'm assuming they're gens because we haven't seen much pictures of Clean Explorer yet

taper to 14mm is the accurate measure actuallylooks like the 36mm comes with a 19mm lug width, tapers down to a 15mm bracelet?

Mine is on the way.... I actually may have to sell it since I unexpectedly picked up a gen recently. I still am looking forward to checking it out. Maybe I end up keeping it after all. I've been waiting SO damn long for a proper version to come out but damn if I spent too much already while waiting for it to arrive.

I picked up an older model in Gen, actually I figured it would be nice to compare the older 114270 to this one with the 19mm lugs since I wasn't sure exactly which one I would prefer. So much back and forth on the newer being smaller, but I have skinny wrist so either one would probably work just fine for me. Still curious to compare the differences.
Ah i see, yes it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on how the modern rep stacks up against the neo vintage (if you can call a 15 year old watch that) gen

The crystals Clean uses are somewhat cloudy / dirty.
Sapphires should be ‘grown’, in clean rooms where the air inside is scrubbed clean of even the tiniest pollution. Clean’s crystal vendor falls short of an acceptable standard in this respect.
An irony of hilarious proportion, quite honestly. “Clean” factory eh? Still I think the finest reps are coming from Clean atm despite this.
Can also confirm marked differences between Gen and “Clean” crystals. Gens are incredibly clear. No distortions and blindingly reflective in certain lighting (with the exception of these new crystals with full “underside” AR).
Is it me or does the rehaut look really angled/slanted? Maybe its the wide angle lens distortion? The rehaut on the gen doesn’t look slanted in pictures.First QC pictures are in:

Gen rehauts of the current era are all slanted to my knowledge. This would be correct.

Is the movement in the 39mm a new movement or just an engraved 3130?
I believe that a calibre 3132 has different dimensions to a 3130 ?
