A more experienced watch smith can chime in but I highly doubt this is a direct fit, especially the hand/cannon pinnion sizes are different and the case size for both movements are different. Is the VR3230 similar to gen? Aka dial feet and movement thickness (both height and width)
From what I’m reading, the VR3230 is just a decorated 3130 and 3230 has no dial feet - the dial sort of sits on the movement with some grooves
Thinking of getting 1 and dropping in a VS3130 which is more reliable…?
From what I’ve read up, 3130 and 3230 have the same pinion sizes so I don’t think the hands are the problem.A more experienced watch smith can chime in but I highly doubt this is a direct fit, especially the hand/cannon pinnion sizes are different and the case size for both movements are different.
If I'm not mistaken the 32xx series uses clips not dial feet, so dial swap is impossible. From what I’ve read up, 3130 and 3230 have the same pinion sizes so I don’t think the hands are the problem.
Not sure about the dial feet and movement size.
Buy away friendgreat looking watch!
would buy it in a heartbeat if lug width is indeed 19mm
damn! does it taper to 14mm as well?Buy away friend
Neither are bad choices. If you like the look of small/classic watches, 36mm is good.CTime!
Can you post some wristshot of both watches?
36 mm and 39 mm Clean Explorer.
My wrist is 17,5 cm and I am not shure which one, 36 mm or 39mm will be better for me?!

I second this, personal preference really, you could get away with either. The explorer design is quite bold on a 39mm and the male end links might stick out slightly but the 36mm is undoubtably a small watch, with the 19mm lugs and heavy taper. My wrist is just under 16.5cm and 36mm is my strong preference but I like classically sized watches.Neither are bad choices. If you like the look of small/classic watches, 36mm is good.
but if you cannot stand small watches then 39mm would be better for you straight off
It would be good if someone could measure the bracelet taper.damn! does it taper to 14mm as well?
I may just reallypull the trigger.
For what i see, the dials and hands looks the same as gen?
if the lug width and bracelet match, wouldn't this one be classified as NWBIG or super replica
I honestly think it's a feature of CF by now to differentiate themselves from other factories. Can't be possible that they miss that on every single bracelet iteration they launchWhat’s up with Cleans bracelet maker, they must absolutely hate the word STEEL INOX with a passion….
it's better in each and every aspect. the dial alone is a much better upgrade. Can somebody maybe describe the bracelet quality? I own the the ARF 214270, bracelet quality is superb but missing lug recess and the square markers are bothering me. If the CF quality comes close, this would be an immediate purchase.
What is wrong with the original crystal? I have seen a few comments referring to Clean’s crystals being bad without explaining why, is the AR bad or no AR?Is dj36 crystal suitable for explorer36...same size? (I know about the cyclops but can remove it with bit of work)? Plan to swap it for deep if it's bad on arrival.
