Lmao, we don’t put embargoes on reps. Can’t explain the white dial, but the BTF I have is in a different league to the CF’s I’ve handled - which have all felt very ‘reppy’’ and cheap.

ZF is great because the case takes gen/BTF/Noob pushers, which the CF cannot. I think this whole SH4130 fear is overblown. A DD4130 also might not have a chrono that resets to 0 each time. Look through the forum, no one has posted (to the best of my knowledge) any incendiary story of an SH4130 movement crapping out.

This is the one post that I saw suggesting problems with the SH4130, but it was from a pretty credible source...

This SH4131 was built based on SH4130 and has 75h power reserve. Clean took part in the movement building with SH(Jinghe) movement factory and in charge of the movement polishing, plating, engraving and assembling. This means Clean has the exclusivity to SH4131 movement.

Clean has done a lot of improvements on SH4131, such as overall polishing, reshaping oscillating rotor, upgrading the rotor bearing, rebuilding the auto device bridge, changed the shock absorbing part of the balance wheel... The problems like chronograph hand wrongly zeroing on SH4130 will be solved this time. The stability of this movement is much better after testing.

When you say "reppy and cheep", are there any areas in particular that you would point to?
- Supposedly they both use the same Bracelet from ARF, and they both use the same DD4130 Movement. So I wonder what would make them feel so different to you?

Overall the CF Daytonas - IMO - just haven’t felt as well put together, especially crown and pushers. I’ve always been skeptical about the ARF bracelet claim - they aren’t even around these days.

Had a BTF V3 for a minute and it looked just like this. Subdials were just way too thick. Wonder if it was just a bad batch that people were getting or if BTF actually thought the V3 was an improvement on the V2 haha

I didn't know BTF released a v3, does they fuckedup the blackdial as well?

ZF is great but I think the SH4130 movement is the largest deterrent. Clean did their updates to make the SH4131 stable in the 126500, but I’d rather pay CF and BTF prices to have piece of mind that the movement won’t shit the bed in 6 months

Yeah that’s always an option. Might try to grab another DD4130 CF V3 with deep before the TDs run out just to have. Will also try to source a ZF dial. Kicking myself for not buying the one you had listed a few days ago @daytonadude

According to @daytonadude, yes. The dial is about as good as it gets. I can't speak to ZF since I don't own one. But I've seen many hi-def pics of the dials and they're really good.

I think the pic above with the side by side of both the ZF & CF speaks volumes. The difference to my eyes is the crystal on the ZF is better. If I was in the market to buy a 116500, the ZF would be my choice.
