Last i’ve read its btf, because of buff hands..i didnt know if clean upgrade their hands, im replacing my btf hands..because my watchsmith damage it

I would say right is whiter in tone and the cut seems sharper

Theses bezel are white when brand new and then it start to get a grey patina after some time, washing the left bezel would make it looks whiter I guess

Welcome, I'm looking for a black daytona but I'm still stuck between ZF and CF

Both are essentially new. The ZF has been worn a handful of times. The bezel looked that same grayish tone in QC as well.

Maybe I am getting too crazy and start thinking about it too much. But it looks to me that VSF crystal on Sub with date is visibly "foggy" when you look at 45 degrees angle or something. It's not perfectly clear. In gen I also saw this effect, but for some reason I have feeling its more visible on VSF.
Is it because I am getting crazy? Not to mention number "3" in VSD date has too fat middle compared to gen.

So I started to think that maybe Clean Daytona is "closer" to gen, at least because of better.
Then I checked black dial Daytona comparison and they say Clean crystal is the worse. Also they found differences in sundial colours.
So I am back to confusion. Which model to take to be closer to gen.
In one of the reviews they said green DJ is very close.

Thanks for the read. According to all the latest QC posts I've read ...everyone going for the Clean Daytona Panda V3 with Deep Crystal installed. Anyone saying get BTF at this point have post-purchase rationalization. Clean is better.

Looks like the subdials on the left (ZF) aren't perfectly round.... The Right (CF) one of the subdial handles look dark, but maybe thats shadowing?

I have a contribution that might be helpful to everyone. Was able to get my hands on a CF V1 and compare to a brand new CF V3 (both have deep crystals installed).

The dial color difference is very apparent in-person. The V1 dial is much whiter than the V3. Almost like a pale bright white as compared to a cool grey. The V1 color is closer to a BTF V3, but with much superior dial printing than BTF. The bezel on the CF V3 is noticeably more whiter and refined.

I’ll preface this with the fact that I have not had an opportunity to compare to gen like others have. So while the V1 might look better to my eyes, it could be more bright white than gen. In the photos the V1 is to the left and the V3 is to right (stickered).

Took these pretty quickly but happy to upload more in different lighting and outdoor lighting.

Edit - I'm only comparing the dials here since they both have the same crystal / lighting conditions. I do not have the expertise or background to compare other components (i.e., case measurements).

clean v3 with deep may be a gen like y2023 model(dial color)

Thanks all for the entertaining read but glad to know the Clean v3 with a crystal swap is what seems to be the best bet as of late 2024 time to read on crystals!

I just posted this on another older thread, but I am about to order a CFv3 116500 black. I just ordered a ZF 116500 white, but I also want a tie-fighter and the crystal sounds like the best bet. Does anyone know a TD that can also install the crystal for you at the time of the order? Or should I order it separately and try to do it myself so I can also verify? I know that deep xtal probably makes a massive difference and any suggestions are appreciated.
