Should the “R” of Rolex in the rehaut match / line up with the hour markers on the right side of the watch face (from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock)? I’m seeing that it does so from 6 o’clock to 12 o’clock in many photos (including QC photos I just received) but not from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock, where the “O” of Rolex matches / lines up with the hour markers.

Sorry - it’s the “X” of Rolex that matches / lines up with the hour markers from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock in the photos I’m seeing, including the QC pics I received.

Some times its the angle at which the picture was taken. Ask your TD to take a pic from a straight up angle and see if its better. Remember at the end of the day its a rep aint no one going to be able to spot that from more then 5 cm away.

that seems fine to me, they more or less are aligned to the hour markers, less the viewing angle causing parallax error.

I Think its pretty much the same as mine is. I did green light this one and frankly speaking its not noticeable.

I checked GMT-Master II gen photos, and the Rs in the rehaut are all one minute to the right of the hour markers on the right side of the dial (from 12:00 to 6 o'clock, although they are directly opposite the hour markers from 6 o'clock to 12' o'clock), with the Xs all being directly opposite the hour markers on the right half of the dial, so these are the same as the gen model.

Maybe you will not get the feedback here you hope for (but maybe on Reddit). You can get all information and help here you need to make your own judgment but it is not allowed to post QC pics (Al least before you have GL them) except you have a special question to a special issue which you are concerned about.
Always remember: You will be the person wearing it so you have to feel comfortable with it. If you take your time to read here you will realize that no rep is gen. All will have somehow flaws and I depends on each individual with which you can live.

Btw. I would like to see someone at an AD making these alignment pics.

Non c'è colla sui nuovi lotti da luglio.
Il mio è una via di mezzo tra v1 e v2 e quando ho smontato la lunetta per adattarsi al cristallo gen e pulire l'eccesso di grasso ho notato che era una pressa adatta come costruzione gen.
Dovresti trovare il mio commento su questo thread alcune pagine al contrario.
Per quanto riguarda le tue aspettative da un rappresentante di 500 $, penso che dovresti aggiungere alcuni dollari e premere il grilletto su un modello GEN.
Questo rappresentante non fa per te.

There isn't glue on new batches since July.
Mine it's a middle way between v1 and v2 and when i dissassembled the bezel to fit the gen crystal and clean the excess of grease i noticed that it was a press fit as gen construction.
You should find my comment on this thread some pages backward.
Regarding your expectation from a 500$ rep i think that you should add some bucks and pull the trigger on a GEN model.
This rep is not for you.

You are right ! The case with the Serial number ending in Y2L3 is V2 and has the slanted crown guards. The crystal is V1 with the milky white crystal gasket. So its like combo of both version. I’ve heard lately a lot of these are now combos like this. The old CFs have a monkey on it yes and now Clean Factory (CF) has a new batch with a different sticker the Ultramar with letters OT CLEAN. So RD ? Should I ask my TD for a pure V2 ?
