Sure. My Gen is with the Jubilee. As you can see, the date is a little bit fat, but for me not a prob.
Switching the crystal makes sense, I already habe a gen one, but too busy for the swap.

Nah. Just give it a good clean with hot soapy water to remove any machining grease/swarf - then just wear it. Lube is a good way of attracting dust, which will form a grinding paste. If you really want to lubricate it, wash it with shampoo...which has mild lubricating properties.

The most importants flaws (with my untrained eyes) are the second hand, the DW and the bezel (it doesnt fit exactly in the correct position and the smooth of the bezel is a bit difference between gen), but in general is a good watch.

only thing I can see visually between the two from those pictures is a bolder DW font. Anything else stick out visually for experts?

Crystal and fat CG on the rep. IMO still very much a wearable daily as long as you get an insert with good transitions between the blue and black
Oof once you see the fatter CG you can’t unsee it. I swear nitpicking is a form of masochism.
I was thinking About switching to a prof Crystal. Any thoughts on profs?
Not big enough of a difference to pay thousands to imitate the real option. That that point I’d just save up for a gen.
