Agree to this.2 render images, a random sketchy dealer, and a random subreddit. That isn't anything
Especially on CLEAN updates time has told that @CTime is basicly THE source for valid information.Agree to this.
When people post "updates" I'd like to see, as a default, the source of the information. Let's keep this forum consistent and not fall for the reddit ...ahemm... "impetuousness"...
Gen crystal and gasket and if you can swing it a gen bezel and looks to be perfectThis one with genuine crystal + gasket
Which is closer to gen, white or black. The fat bezelprinting is ok imo. A friend of mine got a gen with pretty fat text (looks to be different variations even on new model)Gen crystal and gasket and if you can swing it a gen bezel and looks to be perfect
We don't have any in hand or anything reviews so I cannot tell you 100% guaranteeWhich is closer to gen, white or black. The fat bezelprinting is ok imo. A friend of mine got a gen with pretty fat text (looks to be different variations even on new model)
Thanks for the input, I agree. This will be the model to rock when they fix that thick ass crown. We don't have any in hand or anything reviews so I cannot tell you 100% guarantee
Actually, regarding the bezel printing, I did research, it seems that Rolex, per usual, for a transitory period mix and matched thin and thick bezels for the 226570. So you can find both in the wild. It isn't wrong or right.
Look here :
So actually neither version is "wrong."
Regarding the question you have in hand, in general, the black dial is always more accurate than white. White is very dificult for factories to get right. But to me actually looking at Ctime pictures the Explorer 2 white is almost perfect.
I've been doing a bit of research on the 216570/226570 and found the following:
The 216570 used a handset and index style that were glossy and domed.
However, the 226570 moved to a flatter (both in shape and finish) style of index and handset.
So it looks like the photos that CTime posted have 216570 indices but 226570 hands.

Wow, what the differences are pretty huge. I never knew that. I am familiar with 216570's cute, 3D, glossy details, but I must say the flat and matte styles on the 226570 look pretty lifeless in comparison.
