Clean 126500 Daytona review

The bezel is nice, compared to gen, however (like it happens on 116500 ones) the platinum filling tend to get darker over time.

The subdials and indexes look dramatically different. The CF ones look almost like the 116500, the genuine are more silverish and way more shiny. It’s incredible how nice the gen is in person. It just pops.

Not sure. Still debating what to do with them. I couldn’t resist buying when I got offered though given the rarity of such parts

Are the subdials shiny on the sun? On the clean 116520 they are really shiny.

They're not shiny like on the 116520. But they really pop in the sun. Here are some quick pics from different angles made by the window. My S23 makes my fingers look red for some reasons, but they're not. I'm not dying of hypertension, no worries

Fun fact, maybe it's been discussed and I've slept on it, but here it is anyway - my watchsmith wanted to open the caseback, but the tool he always uses on the 116500 didn't fit. He ordered another and did my regular new rep treatment ( lube gaskets, oil movement, regulate to 0s/d ). He was very impressed by the build quality and he's handled a premium watch or two in his life.

A gen is a gen. No comparison.

However the CF 116500 & 126500 out of the box are pretty darn good and on the wrist absolutely no one from 1 meter away can call it a rep.

Me and my buddy @snaes decided to have a local replica conference. The main topic was a scientific comparison between the CF V3 116500 and the CF 126500. The 116500 has a gen crystal. He had a Cuba Libre and I had some pear juice. Judging by the quality of the photos I took, one could think that the waitress slipped a triple shot of rum into my innocent beverage

126500 looks so much better to me and less sporty, much more clean dial with everything slimmer pops out color of the dial better… for the steel ring bezel i dont even want to talk, brought the bezel to next lvl … it simply looks like AMG or full S-Line compared to old model

We contact a TD. Shell out a 150$. Wait for the postman. Pull off the old one. Glue on the new one ( V3 or V4 by then ). Simples
