Guess it's time to get the shit kicked out of me again......but I'm going to ask anyway ....you are the men with the knowledge.....I want to get a sub....but will admit I probably wouldn't know a good one from a bad one....and have avoided Rolex because it feels like a minefield....but I can't help wanting one....I've been reading a lot about V7...and really like the idea of the 3135...because even if I couldn't spot it ...i like to get the best copy of the gen I can...but all I here is how unreliable this can be.....how bad are we talking ?...will this thing be working when it turns up??....I've read that you should get it serviced as soon as you get it....will this guarantee it will be more reliable?? And would a normal watch maker be able to fix anything that is wrong with it....or would you suggest I just leave this movement to people who know about it ....
I really want to pull the trigger but it could be a 400$ mistake can you give me any advice?

If you go with a sub, get a V7 from Noob. You can get it from any TD here.
A2836 or SA3135? Your call. The only people who'll EVER notice the difference in the CG difference between the 2836 & 3135 are the watch nerds here. Nobody else will EVER know.
The 2836 is a work horse. Any watch guy can repair it, parts are interchangeable between gen eta & rep. Or, replace with a genuine eta if you so choose. My point is, there are infinite options.
The SA3135 gets mixed reviews at best. The case is more accurate. It'll accept a gen movement or a yuki 3135 that you can buy from Tickleshoes . If the SA3135 breaks, you're screwed. The only option is to franken it as mentioned above.
