Brushed as per gen - what the hell does this mean?

The end of the day, i think the general consensus is it isnt exact like gen, but it is better than stock. Now to put a value on that, that i guess is up to what people want to pay for it. Myself, personally, I know that with about 20-30minutes worth of time, I can get the bracelet/case to the same level as a lot of these "per gen" brushings, but maybe others are feel that they would rather spend 100+ on it.
The V6 was a long time ago well over a year and a half My only complaint was he said six weeks or less and took 12, The SD case...was a year ago this past july returned to Adrian after 15 weeks and nothing, that upset me but Adrian turned it into something incredible for me.

I love the Ginault with the sand lume and no date but refuse to buy one since he left us high and dry.
I don't mind spending the money if the work is well done like @Johnny Depp , I think as I said the difficulty is getting the case right.
I have seen the same horrible work you have seen in that recent sale and agree with you completely but I know "AS PER GEN" can be done it's not magic.

i do do it myself and buy the gen but that isnt the question since I am also not charging people 100+ to do it.
If you can charge people 100+ to brush a bracelet and case, all the power to you.

To be fair, I have a gen Tudor and I guess the bracelet polish is the same as a Rolex. I also have a gen NOOB v6s and I can see the difference. The gen is more white, uniform, whereas in the v6s you can clearly see the lines.
All this is to say that, looking at @Johnny Depp's work, I'd say is remarkably close to the gen Tudor I have. And nothing to do with the v6s.
