Is it my imagination of does it look like the bracelet is still wrapped in plastic in the photo of the clasp?Same bracelet does not necessarily means same end links. If the shape of the case is different, not only the size of the case, then you need a different end link to fit without having a SEL gap
I am not 100% sure but from the look of Trusty time pics, it really looks like the Colt Bracelet is brushed

Breitling Avenger Gmt GF vs Gen

Think the description on Trusty is just the old one. Havent seen anything to say they have gone back to the original, but have asked Lucy to see.
When i pointed out the datefont Lucy sent the following which didnt really clarify anything
Andy,I got your mean of date font,so I asked GF's boss specially just now,
he want all his watches are accurate like gen,so even very small parts are wrong,he will reject,and remake new,
I know a model of breitling from them,
the bezel have a small part not perfect,he reject all that batch,then let the factory remake new batch of bezel,
as for this model you bought,he told me he bought a few of gen of it back,
then compare with the pics of the official website of this model,
some other customers who bought gen of this model,share their pics online,
he compared with these pics also,use his gen to compare with those gen pics,
found the date font have a little different too,
he told me even bought new Swiss ETA movement,different batch will have a small different on the date font,
so it's not a problem,
he told me gen's date font,on different batch,will have a little different too,
just after I showed your pics to him,and told him it,he told me these things,

Date font on the avenger gmts are all off now (every single QC picture I have seen (including mines) have the new sans font....) dunno why they decided to change the perfectly fine dw but this is the rep world....one step forward steps back. Having said that, colt dw seems correct for now (who knows what will happen tomorrow).
As far as bracelets go, avenger has polished bracelet where colt has brushed. And most breitlings do not have super tight SELs (especially on where they meet the watch case)so I wouldn't be surprised if these bracelets can be interchangeable but again, you wouldn't want a polished bracelet on colt anways

What I forgot to mention is that the movement actually works different as well. The 2836 has a 2:1 reduction gear to drive the gmt hand. A "true" gmt has the ability to adjust the gmt or hour hand in 1 hour steps without hacking the movement.

This is on the way with the correct date font, but don't get too excited. I have been talking with Lucy about the font and she has been speaking with the GF boss. This is what he has told her and it is probably what most of us thought. View attachment 91315

he can get your mean and understand all,now the problem is they get movement from the same factory, just even from the same factory, different batch of movement will have a little difference on the date font, for the date font is with the movement together, but they can't make date font separately by themselves, if so, maybe have more problems of the date font,

Its good that Lucy is passing this on from us and it will be interesting to see if the GF boss can/will do anything about it. Its obviously tricky for him when he has to order movements for multiple watches and no doubt he gets a better deal if they are all the same. You've also got to have a certain amount of sympathy for him as if you go to Breitling.com and check out the Blackbird you can see they are using two different fonts, both pretty much what he is using, but only one of them used in the GMT.
